4K BYOM dock switcher for two-laptop huddle rooms
INOGENI TOGGLE DOCK 2x1
The INOGENI TOGGLE DOCK 2x1 is a professional-grade 4K60 BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) switcher dock station designed for huddle rooms, boardrooms, classrooms and auditoriums where two users share the same AV infrastructure. It allows any meeting participant to instantly take control of the room's USB peripherals and HDMI display by plugging in a single cable — eliminating the need for a dedicated room PC entirely. Supporting both modern single-cable USB-C workflows (with 100W power delivery) and legacy USB-B plus HDMI setups, it is fully compatible with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex and all major UC platforms. Manufactured in Canada with a 5-year warranty and TAA compliance, it is engineered to meet the reliability and governance demands of enterprise and government deployments.

True One-Cable BYOM — No Room PC Required
The TOGGLE DOCK 2x1 replaces a dedicated room PC entirely. The first laptop connects via USB-C (USB 3.0 + DisplayPort Alt Mode + up to 100W power delivery) while the second uses USB-B 3.0 plus HDMI 2.0 — covering both modern ultrabooks and legacy devices without adapters. A single press of the front SELECT button (or the optional INO-BUTTON KIT mounted on the table surface) transfers all three USB devices and the HDMI display to the other host. This matters in huddle rooms where back-to-back meetings are the norm: there is no login to a room account, no screen-share app to launch, and no waiting. The active user simply plugs in and presses a button, and the room is theirs — camera, speakerphone, and display included. USB-C cables are tested and supported up to 15 m (50 ft), making under-table or credenza-cabinet installs practical even in larger spaces.

Flexible Switching Modes for Any Room Behaviour
Unlike basic KVM switches with a single switching logic, the TOGGLE DOCK 2x1 offers five configurable operating modes: Automatic (follows last-detected host), Manual, Manual with Fallback, USB Follows HDMI, and HDMI Follows USB. USB and HDMI switching can be decoupled and set independently in Custom mode — for example, keeping a wireless presentation bar on the display while routing USB peripherals to the active laptop. This flexibility directly affects how the room behaves day to day: automatic mode suits open-plan spaces where any user should be able to walk in and start, while manual mode with fallback suits managed environments where IT wants a defined primary source but automatic recovery if that source drops. The correct mode is set once at commissioning and runs without user intervention afterwards, reducing helpdesk calls significantly.
One cable. Two laptops. Full room control.

Deep Control System Integration and Remote Management
The TOGGLE DOCK 2x1 runs standalone out of the box, but its RS-232 (4-position terminal block, configurable baud rate), LAN (REST API over HTTPS, Telnet, TCP-to-RS232 tunneling on port 5000), GPI (2x contact-closure inputs with pulse and level modes, plus a 5V VOUT for powering indicator LEDs) and USB control interfaces make it a first-class citizen in controlled AV environments. Verified integration with Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron and AMX means it drops into existing room-control programs without custom drivers. IT teams can configure, reboot, update firmware and monitor device health entirely over the network using the built-in MAESTRO web interface or the MAESTRO desktop application — no on-site visit required. The REST API supports bearer token authentication for secure deployments. This makes the device easy to manage at scale across many rooms from a central IT helpdesk.

4K60 Video with HDCP 2.3, HDR-Ready Audio and CEC Display Control
The HDMI output supports up to 3840x2160p60 and 4096x2160p60 in 16:9, and is also compatible with 5120x2160p30 in 21:9 widescreen — covering ultra-wide conference room monitors without a scaler. HDCP compliance spans HDCP 2.3, 2.2 and 1.4, so DRM-protected content from both modern and legacy sources passes cleanly. Chroma subsampling at YUV-RGB 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 preserves colour fidelity for presentations and video content alike. Audio passthrough supports LPCM, Dolby Digital and DTS at up to 192kHz, carried transparently through both the USB and HDMI paths. CEC support allows the TOGGLE DOCK 2x1 to power the connected display on and off automatically when a video source is detected or removed — reducing display wear in rooms that are not always staffed. EDID management (passthrough, preset or user-uploaded) minimises video switching latency and prevents resolution mismatches.

Broad USB Peripheral Compatibility — Tested by Design
Three USB 3.0 Type-A ports serve cameras, videobars, speakerphones and any other USB 3.0 or 2.0 peripheral. INOGENI has tested and verified compatibility with Logitech, Jabra, AVer, Huddly, HuddleCamHD, Vaddio, Bose, MAXHUB, Poly, and Marshall cameras, as well as Barco ClickShare Conference (CX-20, CX-30, CX-50) and Airtame wireless presentation systems — which connect to the USB-B host port and allow wireless laptop participants to share without a physical cable at all. Bidirectional AEC audio works correctly with videobars from Cisco, Poly, Logitech and Bose. The embedded USB hub adds exactly one tier to the USB chain, which matters in installations that already run USB extenders: it keeps the total tier count predictable and within USB specification limits.

TAA-Compliant, 5-Year Warranty, Made in Canada
The TOGGLE DOCK 2x1 carries TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance, making it eligible for US federal government and education procurement. The 5-year warranty — well above the 1-2 year industry standard for AV switching hardware — reflects INOGENI's confidence in long-term reliability and lowers the total cost of ownership in enterprise deployments where replacement cycles are measured in years. The device carries FCC, CE, UKCA, RoHS, RCM, SoV and NOM certifications, covering deployments across North America, Europe, Australia and Mexico. It ships with international power adapters (USA-CA and EU-UK-AU-BIS) included in the box, and supports 85–264VAC 50-60Hz input, so there is no country-specific SKU to manage across a global install base.
