The Origin Acoustics SUBS10 Slim Subwoofer is a 10" powered subwoofer purpose-built for residential AV integrators who demand both acoustic performance and interior discretion. At just 3 9/16" deep, it disappears into any media room or living space without compromising on bass impact, reaching down to 35 Hz. Available in black or white to match any décor, the SUBS10 ships with a comprehensive hardware kit enabling three distinct mounting configurations: wall mount, floor-standing with included feet, or horizontal placement under a sofa or low furniture. Practical amplifier controls — crossover, phase, volume, LFE input, and Auto On/Off/Trigger — combined with optional wireless connectivity via the WSK-200 kit make it an ideal choice for clean, cable-managed custom installs.

Three Mounting Modes, One Package

The SUBS10 ships with everything needed for three fundamentally different installation scenarios: a wall mount hook and screw posts for hanging flush against any wall, two floor-standing feet for upright corner placement, and rubber feet for laying it flat and sliding it horizontally under a sofa or media cabinet. The woofer orientation can be directed toward the listener, into the floor, or into the wall depending on the chosen position and the room's acoustic character. For integrators, this flexibility collapses what would otherwise be a multi-SKU conversation into a single product recommendation — and it means the subwoofer can be repositioned during or after installation without additional hardware.

Fashionably Slim Aluminum Cabinet

At only 3 9/16 inches (90mm) deep without the grille, the SUBS10 occupies a fraction of the floor or wall space of a conventional subwoofer enclosure. The cabinet is aluminum — not the MDF or particleboard typical at this size — making it rigid, resonance-resistant, and noticeably lighter to handle on installation day. The removable aluminum grille protects the driver when the unit is floor-mounted woofer-facing-up, and can be removed when the woofer needs to face the listening position directly. Available in black or white, the SUBS10 blends into modern interiors rather than demanding visual attention, which is a genuine advantage in high-end residential projects where the client expects invisible audio.

Optional Wireless Operation via WSK-200 Kit

The SUBS10 includes a USB port on its amplifier panel specifically designed to power the optional WSK-200 Wireless Sub Kit (ORIGINWSK200). When paired, the subwoofer receives its audio signal wirelessly from the source component, eliminating the need to run an RCA cable across the room. This is particularly valuable in retrofit installs or in rooms with concrete floors or finished walls where cable routing would be disruptive and expensive. The wireless connection is handled entirely by Origin Acoustics' own kit, keeping the signal chain within a single ecosystem. The USB dongle is 90-degree angled (included in the box), so it exits cleanly from the rear panel without protruding awkwardly from a wall-mounted unit.

Comprehensive Amplifier Controls

The built-in amplifier section provides the controls an integrator actually needs for proper system calibration: a variable crossover (to match the subwoofer rolloff to the satellite speakers), phase adjustment (to time-align the sub with the mains), and a dedicated LFE input alongside standard RCA line-level inputs and outputs. Auto On/Off and 12V trigger input round out the control set, so the sub wakes automatically when the system is activated and powers down when idle — no manual intervention required. With 200W RMS and 400W peak on tap driving a 10-inch woven glass fiber cone, the amplifier has more than enough headroom for medium-to-large listening rooms operating at reference levels.
