Extra-large single pole flat panel ceiling mount
Chief XCM1U
The Chief FUSION XCM1U is a professional-grade, single pole drop ceiling mount engineered for extra-large flat panel displays in commercial environments. Designed for displays from 60 to 90 inches and up to 12,7 cm deep, it is the go-to solution for digital signage in retail stores, bars, restaurants, airports, and corporate spaces. The mount offers a broad VESA compatibility range (200×100 to 800×400 mm) and carries up to 113 kg, making it suitable for even the heaviest XL panels. A ceiling plate and extension column are required and must be ordered separately, giving installers the flexibility to configure the drop height to suit each venue.

Centris Fingertip Tilt for Precise Alignment
Chief's proprietary Centris technology balances the display on the mount so tilt can be adjusted with minimal finger force — no tools, no wrestling with a heavy screen. The system provides a continuous tilt range of -20° to +5°, with four positive set-locking points built in. In multi-screen signage environments where every display must match the same viewing angle, installers can dial in the exact tilt on one screen and replicate it on all others without guesswork. The result is a visually consistent installation that looks polished and professional from day one, and is just as easy to re-adjust later if the layout changes.

113 kg Load Capacity for the Heaviest XL Panels
With a rated load capacity of 113 kg (250 lbs), the XCM1U can safely support virtually any commercial-grade extra-large flat panel currently on the market — including heavy direct-lit LED backlit displays that can push 80–100 kg. This capacity, combined with UL Listing, gives installers the documentation they need for building permits and facility compliance in commercial venues. A UL-certified mount is often a contractual or code requirement in public spaces such as airports, hospitality venues, and retail malls, making the XCM1U a safe default choice for demanding projects.

Broad VESA Range — One SKU for Almost Any Display
The XCM1U accommodates VESA mounting patterns from 200×100 mm all the way up to 800×400 mm in a single unit. This span covers the overwhelming majority of commercial flat panels in the 60–90-inch class, meaning there is rarely a need to source a different mount model for a specific display brand or size. For resellers and integrators running mixed-brand signage rollouts, this flexibility reduces the number of SKUs to stock and simplifies project logistics, while end customers benefit from a mount that can be repurposed if the display is later upgraded to a different model.

Flexible Pole System — Configurable Drop Height
The XCM1U connects to Chief's standard 1.5" NPT ceiling plates and columns, as well as the newer CPA pinned ceiling plate and column system. Because the ceiling plate and extension column are sold separately, the drop distance from ceiling to display can be precisely matched to the room's ceiling height and the desired screen eye-level — whether that is a shallow drop in a low-ceiling retail unit or a long drop in a high-bay warehouse or atrium. Fixed and adjustable column lengths are both available within the Chief ecosystem, giving integrators a fully configurable solution from a single, consistent product family.

Tool-Free Engagement and Service Access
The Fusion series uses a simple on-off connection interface that lets installers mount or dismount the display without additional tools. This dramatically cuts service time when a screen needs to be swapped, repositioned, or sent for repair — a practical benefit in venues like retail chains or hotel lobbies where minimising downtime is critical. An optional padlock security feature prevents unauthorised removal, which matters in publicly accessible locations. The combination of quick-release accessibility and optional lockdown covers both the installer's and the facility manager's needs in one design.

TAA Compliant — Eligible for Government and Institutional Projects
The XCM1U carries Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliance, meaning it qualifies for US federal government purchasing contracts and many institutional procurement programmes that require compliant products. For resellers active in the government, education, or healthcare verticals, this certification can be the deciding factor that gets the product onto an approved vendor list. It removes a common qualification hurdle without requiring any special variant or premium SKU.
