For installations without access to the front side of the wall, the SD1-BR16-R allows the SolidDrive to be installed via a rear-side access wall. The patented balanced cantilever spring brackets are required for installations of the SD1 behind drywall. The mounting bracket eliminates stress on the glue bond by balancing the SD1 to eliminate torque and by holding it against the drywall with proper amount of pressure.
