Certified 8K Ultra High Speed HDMI cable, 1 metre
SCP 992UHS-1M
The SCP 992UHS-1M is a 1-metre (3.3 ft) HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed copper patch cable designed for professional AV integrators who need a certified, future-proof interconnect for 8K and high-frame-rate 4K systems. Tested and certified under the official HDMI Ultra High Speed Cable Certification Programme, it carries an encrypted anti-counterfeiting QR label that can be verified instantly on-site. Supporting the full 48 Gbps bandwidth, it enables uncompressed 8K@60 Hz as well as 4K@120 Hz, Dynamic HDR, eARC, VRR, ALLM and QMS — covering every HDMI 2.1 feature set. The passive, bi-directional design requires no external power and works with all existing HDMI devices. UL CL3 in-wall-rated jacket and gold-plated Type-A connectors make it equally suited to rack patching and concealed in-wall runs.

HDMI Ultra High Speed Certification
The 992UHS-1M has been independently tested and certified by an HDMI-authorised test centre (ATC) under the HDMI Ultra High Speed Cable Certification Programme — the mandatory programme for cables claiming HDMI 2.1 performance. Each cable bears a unique encrypted QR code label that anyone on-site can scan with the free HDMI Premium Cable App to instantly confirm authenticity. This is practically important: the market is flooded with uncertified cables falsely marketed as '8K' or '48 Gbps', and using one in a completed installation risks signal integrity failures and costly return visits. SCP's certification removes that risk and gives end customers verifiable proof of what is installed.

Full 48 Gbps — Every HDMI 2.1 Feature Unlocked
At 48 Gbps the cable satisfies the maximum bandwidth of HDMI 2.1, which means no feature is gated by the cable itself. Supported modes include 8K@60 Hz 4:4:4 (4320p, 33 MP), 4K@120 Hz 4:4:4, Dynamic HDR, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Quick Media Switching (QMS) and Quick Frame Transport (QFT). For gaming setups this matters: VRR and ALLM eliminate tearing and input lag only when the cable can sustain 48 Gbps; a cable rated at 18 Gbps will silently downgrade those modes. For broadcast or medical preview monitors, 8K@60 4:4:4 requires every bit of this bandwidth with no compression. The 1 m length is ideal for rack-to-display patching, media room equipment shelves, or any short run where a passive copper cable is the cleanest and most cost-effective solution.

UL CL3 In-Wall Rated — Clean, Code-Compliant Installations
The PVC jacket carries UL CL3 (and CL2) in-wall rating as well as Canadian FT4 flame certification, meaning it is approved for routing inside finished walls and ceilings in both US and Canadian installations without a conduit. For integrators, this eliminates the need to sleeve the cable, simplifies inspections and reduces materials cost on short concealed runs between equipment bays and display mounts. The 1 m cable OD is 5.0 mm — slim enough to route through tight back boxes and behind display mounts while remaining flexible enough for neat dressing in shallow wall cavities.

eARC and 32-Channel Immersive Audio
Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) is supported at full bandwidth, enabling lossless audio formats — Dolby TrueHD (including Atmos object metadata), DTS-HD Master Audio, and Dolby Digital Plus — to travel from a display back to an AV receiver without a separate optical or analogue audio cable. Combined with support for up to 32 audio channels, the cable future-proofs any home cinema or commercial screening installation that may later add an Atmos or DTS:X processor. This is a meaningful distinction from the older ARC found on Premium Certified (18 Gbps) cables, which cannot carry lossless multi-channel audio over the return path.
