Chief LCM2X2U

The Chief Fusion LCM2X2U is a heavy-duty ceiling mount engineered for building free-hanging 2×2 video walls in locations where no suitable wall is available. Designed for commercial digital signage, lobbies, retail environments, and large public spaces, it supports four displays in a tight grid formation suspended from the ceiling. The system features micro-adjustable alignment at every structural intersection point, letting integrators achieve pixel-perfect screen alignment without special tools. Compatible with Chief's standard CPA pinned and traditional 1.5" NPT ceiling plate and column systems, the LCM2X2U is part of a modular Fusion ecosystem that can be extended side by side to grow the video wall up to three screens tall.

Tool-Free Micro-Adjustment at Every Point

Each display position in the 2×2 array can be fine-tuned independently using dedicated knobs — height and plumb — without any tools. Micro-adjustments of 5,08 cm are available at every structural intersection point, and the ControlZone leveling system allows micro-height correction at all column crossings. In practice this means an integrator can dial in pixel-tight alignment across all four screens after initial hanging, saving significant labour time on site and making future re-alignment straightforward — no disassembly required. For installations where bezel-to-bezel precision is critical (digital signage, command centres, lobby walls), this level of in-situ adjustability is a genuine differentiator.

Free-Hanging Video Wall Where Walls Are Not an Option

The LCM2X2U is specifically engineered for spaces that lack a structurally suitable or aesthetically acceptable wall: open-plan lobbies, atriums, shopping concourses, and transport hubs. By suspending the entire 2×2 array from the ceiling structure, the mount enables prominent, double-sided-visible display placements that a wall mount simply cannot achieve. The system is configurable side by side with additional LCM units to scale up to three screens tall, so a 2×2 installation can grow into a 2×3 without replacing the core hardware — protecting the initial investment if the end customer's content strategy evolves.

Heavy-Duty Capacity for Large Commercial Displays

The solid steel construction supports displays up to 139,7 cm (55") and 56,7 kg per screen — a per-screen load rating that comfortably covers the majority of commercial-grade large-format displays in the 106,7–127 cm (42"–50") range. With four screens that amounts to a total supported display weight of up to 226,8 kg. This headroom matters in digital signage applications where operators may upgrade to heavier commercial panels over the installation's lifetime without needing to replace the mount structure.

Fusion Ecosystem Compatibility

The LCM2X2U is part of Chief's Fusion series and requires a compatible ceiling plate and extension column (sold separately). It supports both the traditional 1.5" NPT ceiling interface and the newer CPA pinned ceiling plate and column system, giving integrators flexibility to work with existing infrastructure or to specify the newer pinned system for faster, more secure installation. The modular nature of the Fusion platform means accessories such as back covers, cable management solutions, and additional display arms are all designed to integrate cleanly — simplifying the overall AV installation and producing a professional finished appearance.
