HDBaseT-enhanced Cat6a U/FTP bulk cable, LSZH jacket
SCP HNCPROPLUS-6A-LSZH-BK
The SCP HNCPROPLUS-6A-LSZH-BK is a premium Cat6a U/FTP bulk installation cable purpose-built for demanding AV and IT infrastructure projects. Carrying SCP's industry-first HDBaseT-enhanced designation, it is the reference choice for integrators deploying HDBaseT AV distribution, 10GBase-T data networks, and high-power PoE/PoH systems under IEEE 802.3bt Type 1–4. The LSZH jacket with EN50575 Dca EuroClass fire rating makes it the correct cable for commercial buildings, schools, hospitals and any environment where low smoke emission and halogen-free performance are mandated. Supplied on a 305 m/1000 ft spool, the cable is printed with SCP's sequential zone-and-device labelling system to speed termination and documentation on site.

HDBaseT-Enhanced Cat6a — Tested, Not Just Compatible
The HNCPROPLUS+ 6A is the first Cat6a cable to be tested and recommended by the HDBaseT Alliance — a distinction that goes beyond generic Cat6a compliance. Standard Cat6a cable meets the minimum electrical requirements for 10GBase-T data, but HDBaseT AV signals place additional demands on channel headroom, particularly at the frequencies used by extenders and matrix systems. SCP's U/FTP construction with per-pair aluminium foil shielding delivers NEXT values significantly above the Class Ea minimum (e.g. 97.48 dB vs. the standard 66.3 dB at 4 MHz), giving HDBaseT devices the noise margin they need to operate reliably at full 100 m distance. For end users this means stable, drop-out-free 4K video and RS-232 control over the full rated cable length — without the call-backs that often follow installations using generic Cat6a.

Full PoE/PoH Up to 90 W — IEEE 802.3bt Type 1–4
IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 (PoH) can push up to 90 W down a single Cat6a cable to power devices such as PTZ cameras, wireless access points, thin clients, and digital signage players. For that to work safely the cable must maintain low DC resistance and tight resistance unbalance — both of which the HNCPROPLUS-6A-LSZH-BK meets: maximum conductor resistance 72.2 Ω/km at 20 °C, DC resistance unbalance max 5%. The U/FTP per-pair shielding also keeps induced heat from PoE current from coupling noise into adjacent pairs. End users benefit from the ability to power more capable devices over their structured cabling without running separate power circuits — a real cost and installation-time saving in retrofit projects.

LSZH Jacket Rated EN50575 Dca — Required for Many European Projects
The EU Construction Products Regulation (EN50575) mandates specific fire performance classes for cables installed in buildings across Europe. This cable achieves Dca-s1,d2,a1 — a class that limits flame spread, restricts smoke production (s1 = low smoke) and acid gas emissions (a1 = low acidity). In practice this is the minimum class required for horizontal runs in commercial offices, schools, and healthcare facilities in most EU member states, and is specified in many public-sector tenders. The LSZH compound also limits the release of toxic halogens in a fire, protecting building occupants during evacuation. Installers working in regulated European environments can use this cable without needing a separate compliance review of the jacket material.

U/FTP Per-Pair Shielding for Noise-Immune Dense Installations
Unlike UTP or overall-shielded F/UTP cables, U/FTP wraps each individual pair in its own aluminium foil. This eliminates pair-to-pair alien crosstalk (AXT) — the dominant interference mechanism in high-density cable trays and conduits where many Cat6a cables run in close proximity. The datasheet shows PS NEXT values for this cable exceeding 90 dB at 100 MHz in U/FTP configuration, compared to around 43 dB for standard Cat6a. For AV-over-IP and 10G switch uplinks in racked comms rooms or tightly bundled wall chases, this means the cable does not degrade the performance of neighbouring runs, and full gigabit or 10G throughput is sustained even in congested pathways.

SCP Cable Labeling System — Faster Termination and Documentation
Every metre and foot of cable is printed with sequential numeric markers plus zone and device identifiers following SCP's proprietary Cable Labeling System. On a typical AV installation with dozens of cable runs, this eliminates the need to apply separate labels after pulling — the cable itself records which zone (room) and which outlet each run belongs to. The datasheet confirms the legend is printed in full: ZONE A–E and DEVICE 0–9 fields appear alongside the sequential length markers. For end users this translates to faster commissioning, a cleaner as-built record, and significantly reduced troubleshooting time if a run ever needs to be traced or re-terminated.
