SCP 14/4SPTC-DB-100M — ProSeries outdoor direct burial speaker cable
The SCP 14/4SPTC-DB-100M is a ProSeries direct burial/outdoor speaker cable designed for demanding landscape audio and outdoor AV installations. Featuring four 14 AWG tinned copper conductors with 105-strand OFC construction, the cable is gel filled for complete waterproofing and wrapped in a UV-resistant LLDPE jacket built to handle extreme temperatures and harsh outdoor environments. Tinned Copper Conductors Resist Corrosion
The conductors are OFC (oxygen-free copper) tinned with a thin layer of tin before stranding. Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) outperforms standard PVC outdoors: it resists UV degradation, retains flexibility at low temperatures (cold bend tested at -20°C for 4 hours with no cracking), and withstands the elevated ground temperatures found in sun-baked desert-climate installations (rated to +75°C continuous operation).
