INOGENI U-BRIDGE USB-C DUO — Dual-display USB-C extender for BYOM conferencing
The INOGENI U-BRIDGE USB-C DUO is a purpose-built extender that brings full USB-C functionality—DisplayPort Alternate Mode video, USB 2.0, power, and Ethernet—up to 70 m (230 ft.) over a single CAT6A cable using proven HDBaseT technology. Its defining feature is a second HDMI output on the device module, enabling seamless dual-screen extended desktop setups from a single laptop connection. Designed for enterprise BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) deployments, it connects a laptop at the table to a remote videobar, PTZ camera, speakerphone, room display, and network—all through one cable. Compatible with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex, and leading UC systems from Cisco, Logitech, Lenovo, and Poly, it is the go-to solution for equipping medium and large conferencing spaces with flexible, laptop-driven collaboration.

True Dual-Display Extended Desktop
The DUO adds a second HDMI output to the device module, enabling two independent room displays driven from a single USB-C laptop connection. Where the standard U-BRIDGE USB-C delivers one 4K60 screen, the DUO drives two screens simultaneously at up to 4K30 each—sufficient for 4K content at typical meeting-room viewing distances. This transforms a standard conference room into a dual-monitor environment without any additional switching hardware or a second cable run. Meeting participants can, for example, view a shared presentation on one screen while keeping videoconferencing controls or a second presenter's content on the other, without the laptop operator managing a complex cable setup.

Single-Cable Full USB-C Extension via HDBaseT
A single CAT6A U/FTP cable replaces what would otherwise require separate HDMI, USB, power, and Ethernet runs. The HDBaseT 3.0 link carries uncompressed DisplayPort Alternate Mode video, USB 2.0 data at up to 480 Mbps, 100W laptop charging, and 10/100 Ethernet simultaneously—all over one structured-cable run that most modern buildings already have in place. At 4K resolution the reach is 40 m (132 ft.); dropping to 1080p extends that to 70 m (230 ft.), which covers the large majority of conference and classroom installations without a repeater. The result is a dramatically cleaner installation: one cable drop at the table, no power brick visible to the user, and no tangle of adapters.

100W Laptop Charging Over the Same Link
An included USB-C power supply at the device end delivers up to 100W back to the laptop through the CAT6A link, so the user's machine charges at full speed throughout the meeting. This eliminates the need for a separate power adapter at the table—a friction point that frustrates users and drives unnecessary cable clutter. For integrators, it also means one fewer power outlet to plan for at the table position. The PC host module is itself powered over the CAT6A link from the device module (PoE), so only one mains connection is needed on the room side.

Broad UC Platform and Peripheral Compatibility
The U-BRIDGE USB-C DUO is tested and proven compatible with USB-C videobars and CODECs from Cisco (Room Bar Pro, Room Kit EQ), Logitech (MeetUp 2), Poly (G62), Lenovo (Core Gen 2), and Barco (ClickShare CX50 Gen 2), and works with all major conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet, and Webex. The device module's two USB-A 3.0 ports and one USB-C port support cameras, speakerphones, microphones, and HID devices from virtually any manufacturer. This breadth of compatibility reduces pre-sales qualification time and gives installers confidence that the extender will work across a client's existing and future device investments.

Installation-Grade Hardware with Optional USB 3.2 Upgrade Path
Both modules feature a compact aluminum enclosure with mounting brackets, lockable USB-C and HDMI connectors (with screw retention), and LED status indicators for power and charging. This is hardware designed for permanent rack or furniture installation, not a desktop dongle. For installations where USB 3.2 Gen 1 SuperSpeed throughput is needed—for example, a high-resolution PTZ camera requiring USB 3.0 bandwidth—the dedicated USB3-EXT port on each module accepts an INOGENI U-BRIDGE 3 to add that capability without replacing the core extender. This modular upgrade path protects the initial investment and avoids a full system re-design when a peripheral requirement changes.
