50-inch 4K UHD commercial signage display
LG 50UL3J-M
The LG 50UL3J-M is a 50-inch 4K UHD digital signage display designed for business environments ranging from retail and corporate lobbies to meeting rooms and public spaces. Featuring LG's webOS 6.0 platform built directly into the display's System-on-Chip, it operates as a standalone signage solution without the need for an external media player. With built-in Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth connectivity, content deployment and firmware updates can be managed wirelessly. Support for Crestron Connected AV control, remote web-based monitoring, and compatibility with Cisco video conferencing solutions make it a versatile choice for professional AV integrators. Portrait and landscape orientations are both supported, and built-in 10 W stereo speakers remove the need for external audio equipment.

Standalone webOS 6.0 Built-In SoC
The 50UL3J-M runs LG's webOS 6.0 directly on an upgraded System-on-Chip — meaning no external media player is required to schedule and display content. The platform supports LG's Software Development Kit (SDK), SCAP libraries, and sample applications, so custom signage apps can be developed and deployed natively on the display. For end users, this translates into a simpler, tidier installation with fewer devices to maintain, lower power consumption, and one less point of failure. The intuitive GUI makes day-to-day content management accessible without specialist training, and industry-preset menus (retail, corporate, government, meeting rooms) reduce setup time considerably.

Embedded Wi-Fi with Wireless Access Point Mode
The UL3J-M has Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) built in, which serves two distinct purposes. First, it enables over-the-air content distribution and firmware updates — no physical network drop is needed at the display location, simplifying cable management in retrofit installations. Second, the display can operate as a virtual wireless router (Soft AP), turning itself into a wireless access point for mobile devices in the room. This is particularly useful in meeting rooms or pop-up environments where guests need internet access without additional networking hardware. Combined with wired Ethernet for backbone connectivity, the display offers flexible network integration for virtually any site.

Crestron Connected & Cisco Integration
The 50UL3J-M is certified Crestron Connected, meaning it integrates directly into Crestron control systems — including room scheduling panels, automated lighting sequences, and centralised AV management — without custom drivers or workarounds. For meeting room deployments, this is a decisive factor: the display can be powered, switched, and volume-controlled from the same Crestron touch panel that manages the rest of the room. Additionally, the UL3J series supports Cisco video conferencing solutions via HDMI, delivering a verified, seamless conferencing experience. Together, these integrations significantly reduce installation and commissioning time in enterprise environments.

Web-Based Remote Monitoring & Control
LG's built-in web-based monitoring platform lets administrators access, configure, and troubleshoot the display from any mobile phone or PC on the same network — or remotely over the internet. Both live status and historical usage data are available, enabling proactive fault detection before issues affect end users. For multi-site deployments, this eliminates costly engineer call-outs for routine adjustments: brightness, input source, power schedules, and OSD settings can all be changed remotely in real time. The optional LG ConnectedCare cloud service extends this further with automated fault diagnosis and LG-managed remote services, providing an SLA-backed layer of operational assurance.

LG One:Quick Share Wireless Screen Sharing
The 50UL3J-M is compatible with LG One:Quick Share (sold separately), a USB-dongle-based wireless screen sharing solution. Users simply plug the dongle into their laptop and press a button to cast their screen to the display — no software installation or IT configuration required at the user end. Basic display settings such as volume, picture mode, and auto-brightness can be adjusted from the laptop without needing the physical remote. An Office Meeting Mode can also be enabled, allowing meeting agendas or notes to be shown on screen before the session begins. This makes the display a practical choice for huddle rooms and boardrooms where multiple presenters need to share content quickly.

Versatile External Sensor Connectivity via USB
Through its webOS platform, the 50UL3J-M supports USB plug-in connections to a wide range of external sensors — including GPIO, NFC/RFID readers, and temperature/humidity sensors. This opens up context-aware signage scenarios: for example, displaying weather-relevant promotions automatically when temperature thresholds are met, or triggering specific content when an NFC card or tag is detected nearby. For retail and hospitality environments, this kind of sensor-driven interactivity adds measurable engagement value without requiring a separate PC or IoT gateway. Sensors are sold separately and must be tested for webOS platform compatibility before deployment.

16/7 Duty Cycle — Portrait & Landscape Support
The 50UL3J-M is rated for 16 hours/7 days continuous operation, which covers the vast majority of commercial signage use cases: retail stores, corporate offices, hotel lobbies, and transit environments with extended operating hours. Both portrait and landscape orientations are officially supported, providing installation flexibility for narrow-format content, menu boards, or standard widescreen layouts. The 30,000-hour minimum panel lifetime further underlines the display's fitness for sustained business use without premature degradation.

Built-In 2 × 10 W Stereo Speakers
The 50UL3J-M includes two built-in 10 W speakers, delivering stereo audio directly from the display without any external audio hardware. For promotional or informational signage applications — background music, video narration, or announcements — this eliminates the cost and complexity of sourcing, mounting, and cabling separate speaker systems. In meeting rooms, the integrated audio is sufficient for video conferencing playback and presentation audio. For installations where higher output or surround sound is needed, an optical (TOSLINK) audio output is available for connection to an external amplifier or sound bar.
