The HD1025 is BrightSign's HD5 Series 5 Expanded I/O media player, purpose-built for interactive digital signage and kiosk deployments where peripheral connectivity matters. Expanded I-O for Full Interactivity
The HD1025 is the Expanded I/O variant of the HD5 family, adding a USB-A port (5V/1A for powering peripherals such as touch screens) and a 3.5mm RS-232 serial port that the standard HD225 lacks. Combined with the 8-channel bi-directional GPIO (12-pin Phoenix connector), IR in/out, and Gigabit Ethernet, the HD1025 covers virtually every common peripheral integration in one box — touch panels, proximity sensors, button pads, relay boards, lighting controllers, and conference room AV routing via UDP or serial commands.
