Chief FCS1U

The Chief FCS1U is a cable floor-to-ceiling flat panel mount designed for digital signage deployments in retail storefronts, quick-service restaurants and other commercial environments where a structurally clean, ultra-low-profile solution is needed. Suspended between floor and ceiling via tensioned cables — no wall attachment required — it opens up installation locations that are simply off-limits for traditional wall or ceiling mounts. The FCS1U handles both portrait and landscape orientations in a single SKU and accommodates large displays up to 59 kg. Optional accessories expand the system to double-sided back-to-back configurations or enable post-installation lateral repositioning of the display along a channel strut.

Portrait and Landscape in One SKU

The FCS1U supports both portrait and landscape display orientations without requiring a different mount for each layout. Minimum screen size is 124 cm (diagonal) in portrait and 140 cm in landscape. For integrators this means stocking a single part number regardless of how the end customer decides to orient their signage — and it leaves the door open to change orientation later without buying new hardware. The end user benefits from full flexibility when display layouts are revised for seasonal campaigns or store refits.

Post-Installation Pitch Alignment

After the mount and display are fully installed, the pitch (tilt) of the panel can be fine-tuned without loosening or re-tensioning the support cables. This is a meaningful practical advantage: cable mounts are prone to slight forward tilt if cables are not perfectly balanced, and correcting that tilt on a large, heavy display after the fact — without taking everything down — saves significant time on site. The end result is a display that hangs plumb and level regardless of minor cable asymmetries, giving a professional finish in high-visibility retail locations.

Works Where Wall Mounts Cannot

Because the FCS1U spans floor-to-ceiling via cables rather than fastening to a wall, it can be installed in glazed storefronts, open-plan retail floors, temporary pop-up environments and anywhere else there is no suitable load-bearing wall nearby. The cables accommodate floor-to-ceiling distances up to 457 cm, covering the full height of most commercial spaces. This removes a common site survey barrier for digital signage projects and expands the addressable footprint within a venue — letting the integrator position displays exactly where the customer's visual merchandising strategy demands them.

Expandable to Back-to-Back Double-Sided Displays

With the optional PACFCB accessory, a second display can be retrofitted to the rear of the same cable frame, creating a back-to-back double-sided signage unit from a single cable run. This is a significant project-economics advantage in high-traffic aisles or free-standing positions where audiences approach from both directions. Because the upgrade is a retrofit accessory rather than a complete new mount, the initial installation investment is preserved and the customer can choose to expand later as the budget or business need arises.

Post-Installation Lateral Shift via PACFCL Accessory

The optional PACFCL accessory connects the cables to standard channel strut, allowing the entire display to be shifted laterally along the strut after the install is complete. This is useful in retail environments where fixture layouts change seasonally or where the exact final display position cannot be confirmed until surrounding shelving and furniture are in place. Rather than dismounting and re-anchoring the whole system, the installer simply slides the display to the new position — a practical time-saver that reduces disruption to store operations.
