4-input USB and HDMI camera selector to USB 3.0
INOGENI CAM300
The INOGENI CAM300 is a professional 4-input camera selector designed for classrooms, boardrooms, webinars, and live-streaming environments where multiple camera sources must feed a single USB 3.0 output. It accepts two USB 2.0 cameras and two HDMI cameras simultaneously, switching between them seamlessly without cutting the video stream. The CAM300 presents itself to any host as a standard UVC device — no drivers, no configuration headaches — and works natively with Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and all DirectShow, AVFoundation, and V4L2-compatible software. Control is available via front-panel buttons, LAN, RS-232, or USB, and the unit is compatible with Q-SYS Core processors, Barco ClickShare Conference, and Logitech UC CODECs. Built into a rugged aluminium enclosure and manufactured in Canada, the CAM300 is TAA-compliant and carries a 5-year warranty for units purchased after August 1, 2024.

Sub-0.2-Second Seamless Camera Switching
The CAM300 switches between any of its four video inputs — two USB 2.0 and two HDMI — in less than 0.2 seconds when the sources share the same resolution. This is fast enough to be imperceptible in a live video stream, so the output to the laptop or codec never freezes or blanks. Switching between HDMI inputs at different resolutions takes up to 2 seconds as the scaler adapts, but for same-format sources the transition is invisible. In a classroom or boardroom context this means an instructor or presenter can alternate between a document camera, a PTZ, and a content HDMI feed without any awkward pause or reconnection notice appearing in the conference app — keeping the audience's attention where it belongs.

True Plug-and-Play — No Drivers on Any OS
The CAM300 is fully UVC-compliant and registers as a standard USB video class device on Windows 7+, macOS 10.10+, and Linux (kernel v2.6.38+). The host sees a single camera and audio device regardless of which source is currently active — no driver package to deploy, no Group Policy exceptions to configure, no IT ticket to raise. This matters most in managed corporate or educational environments where endpoint software policies are strict, and in bring-your-own-device meeting rooms where guests plug in without advance preparation. The device works with every DirectShow, AVFoundation, and V4L2-compatible application out of the box, covering Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and professional streaming or recording tools.
4 cameras. 1 USB stream. Zero drivers.
TAA-compliant · FCC, CE, RoHS certified · 5-year warranty (purchases after Aug 2024)

Flexible Multi-Protocol Control
Beyond the front-panel push buttons, the CAM300 can be controlled over LAN (static IP, with APIPA fallback), RS-232 (via included terminal block adapter), or USB — making it integrable into virtually any room control system. Crestron Serial and IP modules are available as a software upgrade, and the device is natively compatible with Q-SYS Core processors via a dedicated plugin. An optional REMOTE CAM keypad extends physical control to a distance via a Cat 5 cable, useful when the CAM300 is rack-mounted or hidden behind a display. Camera switching, audio mixing, and firmware updates are all accessible through the INOGENI Control App, eliminating the need for on-site visits for routine adjustments.

Hardware-Based Scaling and Colour Conversion
All video scaling, colour space conversion (RGB, YCbCr 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 on HDMI input; YCbCr YUY2 4:2:2 8-bit on USB 3.0 output), sampling conversion, and frame rate conversion are performed in dedicated hardware — not in software on the host CPU. This means the host receives a clean, consistently formatted 1080p60 stream regardless of what format or frame rate the connected camera delivers. It also offloads processing from the laptop or codec, which is valuable in compact meeting-room PCs that are already running video conferencing software and room control agents simultaneously. The output is uncompressed over USB 3.0 or HDMI, making it lossless all the way to the conferencing application.

Broad Camera and Ecosystem Compatibility
The CAM300 has been tested and confirmed compatible with a wide range of professional AV cameras — Huddly, HuddleCamHD, AVer, Jabra, Marshall, Vaddio, and the full Logitech Rally and Rally Bar family — as well as consumer USB webcams. On the CODEC side, it works with Logitech Rally Bar Appliance Mode, Roommate (for MTR and Zoom Rooms), and Barco ClickShare Conference (CX-20, CX-30, CX-50). Two extra USB 3.0 expansion ports on the front panel pass through to the host, so a speakerphone or other USB peripheral can remain connected without requiring a separate hub. This breadth of tested compatibility significantly reduces integration risk for installers working with mixed-brand room equipment.

TAA-Compliant, Certified, 5-Year Warranty
The CAM300 carries FCC, CE, RoHS, IEC62368, RCM, KC, MSIP, and NOM certifications, covering North American, European, and key Asia-Pacific markets. It is TAA-compliant, making it eligible for US government and education procurement contracts that exclude non-TAA-origin products. Units purchased after August 1, 2024, benefit from a 5-year warranty — a significant step up from the industry-typical 2-year coverage and a meaningful selling point for end-customers making a long-term investment in a fixed meeting room. The rugged all-aluminium enclosure and Canadian manufacturing underpin the reliability claim rather than just stating it.
