Its two-pole drop design distributes the structural load across a wider footprint, making it the recommended solution for large-format commercial signage installations where the single-pole XCB1U cannot handle the display depth or weight. Targeting AV integrators working in retail, corporate, and public-space environments, the XCB7000 supports two displays simultaneously and pairs with Chief ceiling plates and extension columns ordered separately.

Dual-Pole Structure for Deep, Heavy XL Displays

Unlike single-pole ceiling mounts, the XCB7000 uses two independent drop poles to carry the combined load of two back-to-back extra-large flat panels. This is the critical design difference: the mount is rated for displays thicker than 12,7 cm (5") — territory where a single pole creates too much cantilever stress. With a weight capacity of 136,1 kg per display, the structure accommodates even the heaviest commercial LCD or LED panels in the 140–254 cm class. For the end user, this means a mechanically stable installation that does not flex, drift, or sag over time — essential in high-traffic public spaces where the mount is rarely re-accessed after commissioning.

Centris Fingertip Tilt with Repeatable Lock Points

The XCB7000 is compatible with both Chief's traditional 1.5" NPT threaded column system and the newer CPA pin-connection system, giving integrators flexibility to match whichever infrastructure is already in the building or preferred for the project. Ceiling plates and extension columns are sold separately, which means the drop height and ceiling attachment method can be customised precisely to the space — from a low-profile fixed column to multi-metre adjustable drops in atria or shopping malls.
