Centris Fingertip Tilt Technology

The LCM1UP uses Chief's proprietary Centris mechanism, which counterbalances the weight of the display so that even a large, heavy screen can be tilted with minimal finger pressure. The tilt range spans -5° to +20°, and four discrete locking points (0°, 5°, 10°, and 15°) allow the installer to snap to a precise angle without needing a measuring tool. In a multi-screen signage row — such as a row of menu boards above a fast-food counter — this means every display can be set to exactly the same angle quickly and repeatably, giving the installation a clean, professional look without guesswork or repeated adjustments.

Portrait Orientation for Menu Boards and Signage

The Fusion rail on the LCM1UP is 400 mm wide, with uprights that accommodate VESA patterns up to 800 mm tall, enabling true portrait mounting of displays up to 152,4 cm. This makes the mount a natural fit for digital menu boards, retail promotional displays, wayfinding screens, and anywhere a tall, vertically oriented image creates a stronger visual impact than a landscape layout. The portrait-specific geometry ensures the hardware stays tight and well-supported around the display, rather than being a retrofit from a landscape design.

On-Off Snap Connection for Fast Service Access

The LCM1UP uses a simple on/off connection system between the display interface and the column assembly. This means the screen can be detached and reattached in minutes without special tools — a significant practical benefit in commercial environments where a display may need to be removed for content-player servicing, cable management updates, or display replacement. Combined with tool-free screen engagement and an interface for an optional padlock, the mount balances quick installer access with secure everyday operation.

Broad VESA Compatibility and Column System Integration

The LCM1UP accepts VESA mounting patterns from 200×200 mm up to 400×800 mm, covering a wide range of commercial flat panels sized 81,3–152,4 cm. The mount attaches to standard 1.5" NPT ceiling plates and columns as well as Chief's CPA pinned system — both of which are sold separately and available in adjustable and fixed lengths. This modular approach means the installer can choose the exact drop height for each venue and swap column lengths across projects without replacing the display interface itself.
