Chief CMA115

The Chief CMA115 is a compact, flat ceiling plate designed as the structural anchor point for Chief ceiling-mounted projector installations. Measuring just 15,2 × 15,2 cm with a 1,78 cm profile, it suits installations where ceiling space is limited and a larger plate is impractical. It accepts any standard 1.5" NPT-threaded pipe or Chief CMS Fixed and Adjustable Extension Columns, giving integrators full flexibility over drop height. UL Listed and OSHPD approved, the plate delivers the certified safety margins required in demanding environments. Universal NPT Compatibility — Full Drop Flexibility

The CMA115 accepts any standard 1.5" NPT-threaded pipe as well as the full range of Chief CMS Fixed and Adjustable Extension Columns. This means an integrator can use readily available plumbing pipe cut to any length, or choose a Chief CMS column for a finished, matched look — without being locked into a proprietary drop system. In practice, the installer can dial in exactly the right drop height at the time of installation, even if the ceiling height or screen position changes during a fit-out. It is particularly well suited to drop ceilings of varying depth where flexibility at the last metre of the job matters most.

UL Listed and OSHPD Certified

The CMA115 carries both UL Listing and OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) approval. UL Listing confirms the product has been independently tested to established safety standards for load-bearing ceiling hardware. OSHPD approval extends that assurance to seismic-zone requirements used in Californian healthcare facilities — a certification that opens the product to hospital, clinic and public-sector projects where non-certified hardware is simply not accepted. Despite its modest 15,2 × 15,2 cm plate size, the CMA115 is rated to 226,8 kg — far in excess of any conventional projector or display suspended from a ceiling column. The compact size makes it the right choice precisely where ceiling joist spacing, T-bar grid geometry or architectural constraints leave little room, yet full structural confidence is still required. The 4 × 4" (10,2 × 10,2 cm) mounting-hole pattern and 0.38" hardware accommodate a broad range of ceiling structures without needing adapters.
