Speed-Connect Installation System
The CMS115 is part of Chief's Speed-Connect series, purpose-built as a faster, more refined replacement for the older CMA ceiling plate range. The plate uses a tool-friendly design with recessed mounting holes that hide hardware from view, reducing both installation time and the visual footprint on the ceiling. The included Allen wrench is the only tool needed, keeping the security mechanism simple for the integrator while remaining effective against casual tampering.
Broad NPT Ecosystem Compatibility
The CMS115 uses standard 1.5″ NPT threading, which is the dominant thread standard across Chief's projector accessory range. This means the plate is compatible with the full CMS fixed and CMS adjustable extension column family, the CMA152 coupler, and a wide variety of other Chief projector mount accessories. An installer can therefore mix and match drop lengths and mount types within a single project — or replace components in an existing installation — without needing a different ceiling plate.
