The Chief FCA840 is a Fusion center channel speaker mount designed for extra-large flat panel displays from 70 to 100 inches and above. It integrates a center channel speaker directly beneath a mounted display without adding any depth to the installation, preserving the clean, low-profile look that architects and AV designers demand. The mount is fully compatible with all Fusion-series wall, ceiling, cart and stand mounts, and its universal bracket design accommodates most speaker brands. Adjustable height provides flexibility to position the speaker flush with the bottom edge of the display. Zero-Depth Speaker Integration

The FCA840 mounts a center channel speaker directly beneath the display without adding any depth to the overall installation footprint. This is achieved by attaching the speaker bracket to the existing Fusion mount head rather than introducing a separate mounting arm that protrudes from the wall. In practice, the display and speaker remain co-planar with the wall surface, which is critical in corporate boardrooms, hotel lobbies and luxury residential installs where protrusion would violate the architect's specification. There is no compromise on aesthetics or on clearance from furniture below the screen.

Broad Display and Speaker Compatibility

The FCA840 is engineered to work with all Fusion-series mounts — wall fixed, wall tilt, ceiling and cart or stand — covering virtually every mounting scenario Chief addresses with the Fusion platform. The expandable bracket spans displays from 178 cm (70 inches) up to 254 cm (100 inches) and beyond, matching the large-format panel sizes increasingly common in corporate AV and digital signage. The universal bracket geometry accommodates most speaker brands, so the integrator is not locked into a specific speaker vendor. Infinitely Adjustable Height Positioning

Height is adjustable across a range of 45,7 to 78,7 cm (18 to 31 inches), allowing the integrator to position the speaker precisely flush with the bottom edge of any supported display size. This infinite adjustment — rather than fixed indexed positions — means the speaker can be set exactly right regardless of the panel's bezel height or mounting height, without requiring shims or custom fabrication. The result is a finished installation that looks designed, not adapted. Maximum supported load is 9,1 kg (20 lb), which covers the majority of centre channel speakers used in flat-panel AV environments.
