Chief CSPH

The Chief CSPH is a Proximity® Component Storage Panel designed to mount AV components neatly out of sight beneath conference room tables and desks. With over 2258 cm² of secure attachment area, it gives integrators a clean, consistent way to deploy AV equipment across large-scale rollouts — components can be staged and pre-populated off-site before the panel is carried to the install location. Once mounted, the panel hinges 90° downward, allowing straightforward access to components without fighting gravity. Featuring modular 1/3 and 2/3 breakaway sections, a built-in carry handle, and security locking screws, the CSPH suits AV integrators who need a repeatable, professional mounting solution for collaboration spaces of all sizes.

90° Hinged Access After Installation

Once the CSPH is fixed beneath a table or desk, the entire panel swings down 90° on its hinge — bringing all mounted components into a vertical, face-forward position. This design means a technician can carry out maintenance, swap a unit, or re-cable without removing the panel from the table or working upside-down in a cramped space. In busy conference rooms where downtime matters, that translates directly into faster service visits and less disruption to the room's users.

Large Secure Attachment Area for Staged Rollouts

With more than 2258 cm² of active mounting surface, the CSPH gives installers room to fit multiple AV components — DSPs, codecs, control processors, or similar rack-style units — in a single organised panel. Because the panel is a self-contained unit, components can be fully populated, cabled, and tested at a staging area before the install day. On site, the pre-loaded panel is simply lifted into position and secured. For a project with dozens of identical conference rooms, this approach dramatically cuts per-room installation time and ensures every room is configured identically.

Modular Breakaway Sizing

The CSPH ships with 1/3 and 2/3 breakaway sections that can be snapped off when less panel area is needed — for instance, in a smaller desk installation or where a support bracket or cable conduit runs through part of the underside. Brackets are available separately to repurpose the removed breakaway sections elsewhere in the same space. This flexibility means a single SKU can serve a wider range of table sizes and layouts without requiring custom fabrication or a different product.

Security Locking Screws for Tamper Resistance

Installed components are secured with locking screws, reducing the risk of equipment being accidentally dislodged or deliberately removed in shared or public-access spaces. This is a practical consideration for higher-education lecture rooms, co-working environments, or any venue where the table is accessible to multiple users who are not responsible for the AV system.
