The 4KX-PLUS is UVC-compliant, meaning every operating system — Windows 7 and above, macOS 10.10 and above, and Linux (kernel v2.6.38+) — recognises it as a standard USB camera the instant it is plugged in. No driver installation, no IT-department approval process, no version conflicts after OS updates. Any conferencing software built on DirectShow, AVFoundation or V4L2 — which covers Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google Meet and BlueJeans — picks it up automatically. Crucially, it is the only INOGENI converter that supports Webex deployments with multiple displays; the simpler 4K2USB3 model is limited to single-display rooms. The Webex Room Kit Plus in particular requires the 4KX-PLUS to carry audio, as that CODEC does not output audio over HDMI.
