Chief RPMAUW — Universal ceiling projector mount with keyed security
The Chief RPMAUW is a professional-grade universal ceiling projector mount designed for fast, precise installation in classrooms, boardrooms, houses of worship, and other permanent AV environments. Built around Chief's RPA Elite platform, it combines Centris Technology for effortless projector positioning with Microzone Adjustments for exact alignment — even in flush-mount configurations. A dedicated Q-Lock Quick Release Lever with integrated key and lock ensures both rapid service access and solid security. The RPMAUW is the white-finished variant, ideal for installations where the mount is visible and needs to blend with a light-coloured ceiling.

Centris Technology: Effortless Positioning
Centris Technology is Chief's counterbalance mechanism built into the mount head. It automatically adjusts to compensate for the projector's weight, meaning the installer can move and position the projector using fingertip pressure alone — no fighting the weight of the unit. In practice this reduces physical strain during installation and dramatically speeds up fine alignment, particularly in overhead ceiling situations where leverage is awkward. For end users, this translates to a more accurately aligned image from day one, since the installer is not working against mechanical resistance when making small positional corrections.

Microzone Adjustments for Precise Alignment
Microzone Adjustments allow small, controlled positional corrections across all three axes — roll, pitch and yaw — with independent adjustment ranges of 3°, 20° and 360° respectively. This level of granularity is especially important in flush-mount installations where there is little room to compensate with gross movements, and in environments with a fixed screen position that leaves no tolerance for image drift. The benefit to the end user is a perfectly centred, correctly keystoned image that stays in registration over the long term without needing periodic correction.

Q-Lock Keyed Security System
The Q-Lock Quick Release Lever allows the projector to be connected and disconnected rapidly for lamp replacement or filter cleaning, while an integrated key-and-lock mechanism prevents unauthorised removal. This dual function — fast service access and physical security — is particularly relevant in shared or public spaces such as school classrooms, lecture theatres, and conference centres where projector theft or tampering is a genuine concern. The result is a mount that makes routine maintenance simple for authorised staff without compromising the security of the equipment.

Registration Maintained After Disconnect
When the projector is disconnected from the mount for servicing, the pre-set alignment settings are preserved. The mount does not lose its adjusted position when the projector is unlatched and re-attached. This means that after a lamp change or filter service, the projector drops straight back into place and the image remains correctly aligned — eliminating the need to repeat the alignment procedure each time maintenance is carried out. In high-frequency-use environments this saves significant on-site time over the lifecycle of the installation.

Integrated Cable Management
The RPMAUW includes cable routing channels built into the mount body, eliminating the need to purchase or install separate cable management accessories. Cables can be routed neatly from the projector through the mount, resulting in a clean, professional finish that is particularly valued in visible ceiling installations. Keeping cables contained within the mount also reduces wear on connectors and minimises the risk of cables being accidentally disconnected during projector servicing.

TÜV and UL Certified for Permanent Installs
The RPMAUW carries both TÜV and UL safety certifications, confirming the mount has been independently tested to established load and safety standards. These certifications are increasingly required for specification in commercial, educational, and government projects, and demonstrate compliance with international safety expectations. For end users, certified mounting means the installation meets recognised safety criteria — an important consideration in occupied spaces where an overhead mounting failure would pose a serious risk.
