Heavy-duty dual pole ceiling mount for extra-large displays
Chief XCM7000
The Chief XCM7000 is a FUSION series dual pole flat panel ceiling mount engineered specifically for extra-large, deep-body displays — particularly those exceeding 12,7 cm (5") in depth that a single-pole mount cannot safely handle. Designed with professional AV installers in mind, it accommodates screens from approximately 152 to 229 cm and supports loads up to 136 kg, making it a natural choice for demanding digital signage, corporate lobby, and large-venue AV deployments. Compatible with both traditional 1.5" NPT and the newer CPA pinned ceiling plate and column systems, the XCM7000 fits into existing Chief infrastructure and adapts to a wide range of ceiling heights when combined with the appropriate extension columns (sold separately).

Dual Pole Stability for Heavy, Deep Displays
Where single-pole mounts reach their limits, the XCM7000's dual pole architecture takes over. Displays exceeding 12,7 cm in depth create leverage forces that can stress a single column to the point of flex or fatigue over time. The two-pole design distributes the load symmetrically and adds rigidity, so even the heaviest commercial panels — up to 136 kg — sit securely with no perceptible movement once locked. Locking tilt angles reinforce that stability further, preventing drift in high-traffic or vibration-prone environments such as airports, retail atriums or production studios.

Precision Tilt with Repeatable Lock Points
The XCM7000 offers a continuous tilt range of +5° to -20° with four discrete set locking points along the arc. In a single-screen installation this lets the integrator dial in the perfect downward viewing angle for the room geometry. Where the real value shows is in multi-screen deployments: each mount can be set to exactly the same locking point without measuring or guessing, producing a consistent tile of screens that stays uniform even after maintenance. This repeatability cuts commissioning time and eliminates the need for repeated visits to fine-tune angles after the displays are live.

Universal Ceiling System Compatibility
Chief has two generations of ceiling infrastructure: the legacy 1.5" NPT threaded column system and the newer CPA pinned system. The XCM7000 accepts both, which means it can drop into an existing Chief installation without requiring the customer to replace their ceiling plates or column inventory. For greenfield projects, the CPA pinned system offers tool-free column engagement and a cleaner aesthetic. Ceiling plates and extension columns are not included and must be specified separately — the installer selects from Chief's CPA or NPT range to match the ceiling height and structural attachment point.

Tool-Free Screen Engagement with Security Option
The XCM7000 uses a simple on-off connection mechanism that lets a single technician attach or detach the display without reaching for tools. This is particularly valuable during commissioning when the panel may need to come down for cable dressing or content player installation, and equally useful for scheduled maintenance where the screen has to be lowered. An optional padlock can be fitted to prevent unauthorised removal — a practical measure in public-facing installations such as retail concourses or hospitality venues where the mount is accessible to visitors.

Wide VESA Coverage for Large Commercial Panels
The mount's universal bracket accommodates VESA patterns from 200×100 mm through to 800×400 mm. This range covers the majority of large-format commercial displays in the 152–229 cm class from manufacturers including Samsung, LG, NEC and Sony, reducing the risk of compatibility surprises on-site. Installers specifying the XCM7000 ahead of final display selection can be confident it will fit whatever panel the customer ultimately procures within that size bracket.
