The Chief CPA351 Floor-to-Ceiling Low-Profile Collar Plate is an engineered mounting accessory for AV installations where the ceiling or wall cannot bear the full load of a display assembly. By anchoring the pole both at the floor and ceiling, it transfers structural load to the floor rather than relying on overhead fixings, making it viable in locations with lightweight or suspended ceilings. It delivers the same mounting functionality as Chief's Fusion ceiling mount line but in a floor-to-ceiling configuration — allowing integrators to deploy single or back-to-back Fusion-compatible mounts in virtually any commercial environment. Compatible with CPA and CMS columns (CPAE in EMEA), the CPA351 suits corporate, education, retail and hospitality settings where stable, professional display placement is required without invasive structural work.

Ceiling-Independent Structural Stability

The CPA351 anchors a display column at both floor and ceiling, routing structural load down to the floor rather than into the overhead structure. This is the decisive factor whenever an integrator faces a lightweight suspended ceiling, a plenum ceiling, or any surface that cannot safely accept the point-load of a fully loaded display system. Instead of coring into concrete or reinforcing the ceiling — work that adds cost, time and disruption — the installer simply spans a CPA or CMS column between floor and ceiling, secures the CPA351 collar at ceiling level for lateral stability, and the weight path bypasses the ceiling entirely. The end result for the space occupant is a rigidly stable mount that shows no movement or vibration during normal use, without any visible structural modification to the building fabric.

Full Fusion Mount Compatibility in a Pole Format

Because the CPA351 is engineered to accept the same Fusion ceiling mount interfaces used across Chief's standard ceiling plates, it unlocks the entire Fusion single-display and back-to-back mount catalogue for floor-to-ceiling pole deployments.
