Medium fixed wall mount for 66–119 cm displays
Chief MSM1U
The Chief MSM1U is a medium-sized fixed wall mount from the Fusion® Micro-Adjustable series, designed for commercial flat-panel displays in the 66–119,4 cm (26"–47") range. Developed directly from installer feedback, it targets professional AV integrators working in retail, hospitality, corporate, and control room environments. The mount sits just 5 cm from the wall for a low-profile finish, while a comprehensive set of post-installation micro-adjustments — Centerless lateral shift, ControlZone height and levelling, and ClickConnect tool-free latching — means the display can be precisely positioned and securely locked without disassembly. UL Listed and OSHPD approved, it is ready for demanding commercial deployments.

Centerless Lateral Shift — Post-Install Centering
The Centerless Shift system provides up to 32,7 cm of horizontal movement after the display is mounted on the wall — without loosening bolts or touching the wall bracket. In practice, this means the installer can hang the display and then slide it precisely over a window, below a camera, or centred on an architectural feature after the fact. On sites where the final furniture layout or signage zone only becomes clear at the end of a fitout, this eliminates the need to re-drill. The result for the end user is a display that sits exactly where it should, with no visible compromise between structural fixing points and aesthetic requirements.

ControlZone Height and Levelling Adjustment
ControlZone is an industry-first post-installation micro-adjustment system that allows the entire display-and-mount assembly to be raised, lowered, and levelled after the bracket is fixed to the wall. Unlike systems where only the display arm moves, ControlZone adjusts the whole configuration — so the display, any attached accessory (camera, codec, media player) and the cable run all move as one unit. For installations in rooms with uneven floors or ceilings, or where the display must align precisely with a desk surface or sightline height, this removes the guesswork from the initial fix and avoids secondary site visits to correct a misaligned screen.
Installer-inspired. Low-profile. Precisely adjustable after install.

ClickConnect Tool-Free Latching
ClickConnect is Chief's audible latching mechanism: when the display bracket clicks onto the wall plate, the installer hears and feels a distinct confirmation that the screen is securely engaged. This removes ambiguity during installation — there is no need to visually inspect hidden locking points or torque a fastener. For large, heavy commercial displays (up to 56,7 kg), the certainty that the screen is properly locked before releasing it is a significant safety benefit. It also speeds up the process of removing and re-hanging a display for servicing, since no tools are needed to release the latch.

Teardrop Wall Plate for Single-Installer Speed
The integrated teardrop-shaped wall plate slots allow the lag bolts to be pre-installed into the studs before the plate is lifted into position, so one person can align and hang the heavy steel bracket without a second pair of hands holding it in place. This reduces installation time and lowers the labour cost per job — a real advantage on multi-screen deployments in retail or hospitality where dozens of mounts may be installed in a single day. The open wall plate design also allows mounting over existing electrical outlets without having to relocate them.

Integrated Cable Management
A built-in cable stand lifts the bottom of the display to create a clear pathway for running signal and power cables underneath without bending or pinching them. Quick-Store Cord keepers with magnetic ends tuck pull cords out of sight when not in use. New end caps complete the assembly with a clean finish. Together these details matter in visible commercial environments — lobbies, retail floors, meeting rooms — where exposed cabling undermines the overall installation quality and can require rework before a client sign-off.

UL Listed and OSHPD Approved for Regulated Sites
The MSM1U carries UL Listing and OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) approval — the seismic and structural certification required for installations in California healthcare facilities and other regulated public buildings. For integrators working in hospital, clinic, or government environments, this certification is not optional: specifying a non-approved mount can invalidate the entire installation for compliance purposes. Having both marks on a single off-the-shelf product avoids the cost and delay of a bespoke structural engineering assessment.
