Fusion component shelf for large-display AV systems
Chief FCA802
The Chief FCA802 is a Fusion Series lower component shelf designed to neatly integrate AV components or video conferencing cameras directly beneath a large flat-panel display on any Chief Fusion Series mount — whether wall, ceiling or freestanding. The shelf measures 45,7 × 30,0 cm and offers manual height adjustment, letting installers position equipment at precisely the right distance below the screen. By mounting entirely within the existing Fusion bracket footprint, the shelf adds zero additional depth to the installation. Suitable for corporate meeting rooms, education spaces and any environment where keeping connected equipment consolidated, accessible and tidy matters. TAA compliant and backed by Chief's 10-year limited warranty.

Universal Fusion Series Compatibility
The FCA802 attaches to every mount in Chief's Fusion Series lineup — wall mounts, ceiling mounts, freestanding carts and stands — without requiring any separate adapter kit. This matters because specifiers can order the shelf as an add-on at any point: during initial project build-out or as a later upgrade when a client adds a video conferencing camera or codec. The bracket integrates mechanically with the Fusion interface, so it tilts in unison with the display, which keeps cables neat and maintains the proper sightline of a below-screen camera regardless of the tilt angle chosen.

Height-Adjustable Positioning
The shelf offers a manual height adjustment range of 10,2–13,0 cm (dependent on whether the parent mount is a wall, ceiling or freestanding unit), covering a TV-centre-to-shelf span of 31,5–38,6 cm at minimum and 42,7–48,8 cm at maximum. In practice this means the installer can dial in exactly how far below the screen the codec, receiver or camera sits — accommodating varying display bezels and equipment heights without resorting to custom fabrication. End users benefit from a consistent, professional layout that doesn't need to be revisited each time a component is swapped out.
Any Fusion mount. Any component. Zero added depth.

Zero Added Depth to the Installation
A recurring pain point with add-on shelves is that they push the overall assembly further from the wall or ceiling, which can conflict with sight-lines, ADA clearance requirements or simply the aesthetic brief. The FCA802 is engineered to mount within the existing Fusion bracket envelope, adding no extra depth at all. Rooms where the display must sit flush against a wall — reception areas, narrow corridors, courtrooms — can therefore include a full-featured component shelf without any of the usual geometric trade-offs.

9,1 kg Load Capacity
The shelf is rated to carry up to 9,1 kg, which comfortably accommodates typical video conferencing codecs, Blu-ray players, small media players, audio processors and similar rack-style AV equipment. Knowing the rated capacity upfront allows the integrator to specify which components can safely sit on the shelf at the design stage, preventing costly on-site surprises and ensuring the installation meets the manufacturer's warranty terms.

TAA Compliant — Ready for Government Projects
The FCA802 carries Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliance, meaning it can be specified and purchased on US federal, state and local government contracts where domestically produced or TAA-country-of-origin goods are required. For integrators who regularly bid on government, defence or education frameworks, having a TAA-compliant shelf in the Fusion accessory kit means the entire mounting system can qualify — rather than having to substitute a different shelf and re-engineer the install.

10-Year Chief Warranty
Chief backs the FCA802 with a 10-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the original invoice date. For an installed component that is expected to remain in place for the lifetime of a meeting-room fitout, this warranty horizon directly reduces the total cost of ownership and the risk of unplanned replacement costs for the end customer. It also signals the build quality that Chief's Fusion accessory line is known for in the professional AV market.
