Chief FHB5038

The Chief FHB5038 is a VESA adapter bracket designed specifically for use with Chief Fusion version 2 pole-type wall mounts. It unlocks compatibility with extra-large vertical VESA mounting patterns of 800 to 1000 mm — patterns that the standard Fusion interface brackets cannot accommodate on their own. By adding up to 40 cm of vertical extension, the FHB5038 makes it possible to mount large-format LCD and flat panel displays with non-standard tall mounting hole layouts on the full range of Chief Fusion series mounts. The kit includes all necessary screws and spacers, keeping the installation clean and straightforward. Finished in black, it blends seamlessly into professional AV environments.

Unlocks 80–100 cm Vertical VESA Patterns

Standard Fusion version 2 interface brackets top out at smaller VESA patterns. The FHB5038 extends coverage to vertical mounting patterns of 800 to 1000 mm, bridging the gap for large-format displays — particularly commercial panels and ultra-large screens that use tall non-standard hole layouts. Without this adapter, installers would be unable to marry those displays to the Fusion system at all. With it, the full ecosystem of Fusion pole-type mounts becomes available for the largest panels in the line-up, giving end users the consistent Fusion adjustability and build quality they expect regardless of display size.

Pole-Type Fusion Mounts Only — Critical Compatibility Note

The FHB5038 is explicitly designed for pole-type Fusion mounts only and is not compatible with flat-wall or standard stud Fusion mounts. This is a decisive compatibility filter for any installation planning: specifiers must confirm the project uses a pole or column-based Fusion mount before ordering this adapter. Selecting it for the wrong mount type results in a part that simply cannot be installed. Knowing this upfront prevents delays and return logistics on site, which is especially important on multi-display rollouts where a single wrong accessory can stall an entire installation.
