Chief FCAX08

The Chief FCAX08 is a kit of two Fusion® extension brackets designed for AV integrators who need to expand the display compatibility of existing Chief LVM, LBM, or LCM freestanding and ceiling video wall mounts. By adding 20,32 cm of total extrusion length — one bracket per end of the existing Fusion extrusion — the kit unlocks support for displays up to 152,4 cm diagonal with VESA mounting patterns up to 800 mm wide. The brackets bolt directly onto any LVM, LBM, or LCM mount without additional tools or major rework, making them a clean, cost-effective upgrade path when a project calls for larger screens than the base mount was originally sized for. Expand Existing Mounts Without Starting Over

The FCAX08 adds 20,32 cm of total extrusion length (10,16 cm per bracket, one at each end of the existing Fusion extrusion) to Chief LVM, LBM, and LCM video wall mounts. This matters when a project scope changes — for example when a client upgrades from a planned 139 cm display to a 152 cm model after the mount has already been purchased or installed. Rather than replacing the entire mount assembly, the integrator simply bolts on the FCAX brackets, saving significant cost and avoiding structural rework. Each kit ships with two brackets and installation hardware, making a single kit the correct quantity for one row of displays in the video wall.

Wider VESA Compatibility — Up to 800 mm

Beyond extending the physical reach of the mount, the FCAX08 expands the supported VESA hole-pattern width to 800 mm. Many large-format commercial displays — particularly in the 139–152 cm range — use VESA patterns of 600–800 mm wide, which the base LVM, LBM, and LCM mounts cannot reach without these brackets. In practice this means the brackets resolve a common compatibility gap on video wall projects where display selection happens before mount sizing is finalised. Confirming VESA width against the target display's datasheet before ordering is recommended, as the 800 mm limit applies to total horizontal VESA spread.

The FCAX08 carries TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance, meaning it meets the sourcing requirements for US federal government procurement contracts and many state and local government tenders.
