Atlona AT-GAIN-VOL

The Atlona AT-GAIN-VOL is a dedicated volume control wallplate designed to work exclusively with the AT-GAIN-M50-LZ mixer amplifier. It gives room occupants a clean, familiar wall-mounted interface for adjusting audio levels without needing a control system — making it ideal for classrooms, conference rooms, and commercial spaces where local volume control is required but AV automation is absent or overkill. The unit connects via a 3-pin Euroblock connector over standard low-voltage cable runs up to 200 ft, and mounts in any US one-gang electrical box or mud ring. Both black and white Decora-style faceplate sets are included in the box, supporting most commercial interior finishes out of the box.

Control Without a Control System

In rooms where a full AV control system (Crestron, AMX, Atlona Velocity, etc.) is not deployed, end users still need a way to manage audio levels locally. The AT-GAIN-VOL fills that gap by providing a single rotary knob wired directly into the AT-GAIN-M50-LZ amplifier's control port. The logarithmic 10kΩ potentiometer delivers a natural-feeling volume taper — quiet positions stay quiet, and the upper range doesn't jump to full volume. This makes it practical for teachers, presenters, or facility staff who need an intuitive, always-available control point without relying on touchpanels, apps, or programming.

Simple 3-Pin Euroblock Wiring — Up to 200 ft

The AT-GAIN-VOL connects to the AT-GAIN-M50-LZ via a single 3-pin 3.5mm Euroblock (captive screw) connector — the same termination style commonly used across low-voltage AV and control wiring. Cable runs up to 200 ft (60 m) are supported using standard 28–16 AWG wire, so the wallplate can be installed on the opposite side of a room or through a partition wall from the amplifier without requiring any special cabling infrastructure. The captive screw connector is included in the box, so no additional parts are needed on site.

Standard One-Gang Form Factor With Dual Finish Options

The AT-GAIN-VOL mounts in any standard US one-gang electrical box or mud ring — the same rough-in used for light switches and duplex outlets. This means no custom cutouts, no proprietary back boxes, and no extra hardware for the installer. The package includes both a black and a white Decora-style faceplate and wallplate, so the finished appearance can be matched to the room's existing electrical fittings on the day of installation. This reduces last-minute procurement delays and keeps the install looking professional in environments with either dark or light colour schemes.

The AT-GAIN-VOL carries NDAA Section 889 compliance and Trade Agreements Act (TAA) certification.
