Triple laser ultra short throw home cinema projector
Hisense PX3-PRO
The Hisense PX3-PRO is a premium 4K Ultra Short Throw laser projector built for dedicated home cinema enthusiasts who want a truly cinematic experience without a dedicated projection room. Powered by Hisense's TriChroma LPU triple-laser engine (R+G+B), it achieves 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut, 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness, and a native 3,000:1 contrast ratio for stunning image depth. Certified for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced, and Google TV with Netflix built in, the PX3-PRO is also the world's first UST projector "Designed for Xbox," supporting HSR 240Hz refresh and ALLM for lag-free gaming. A 50W Harman Kardon front-firing speaker system completes the experience, making it an all-in-one home theater solution.

TriChroma LPU Triple Laser Engine
The PX3-PRO uses a pure R+G+B triple laser light source — three separate laser diodes for red, green and blue — rather than a single blue laser with phosphor conversion used in most competing ultra short throw projectors. This approach, branded LPU (Laser Processing Unit) by Hisense, enables coverage of 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut, which translates to visibly more saturated and accurate greens and reds that single-blue-laser systems simply cannot reproduce. Real-time Pro AI Algorithms run continuously to enhance brightness, fine-tune contrast and suppress noise. The practical result for the viewer is images that feel genuinely three-dimensional and film-accurate — subtle variations in skin tone, sky gradients and natural textures are rendered with a richness that sets this projector apart from the majority of the UST category.

Ultra Short Throw — Cinema Scale in Any Room
With a throw ratio of 0.22, the PX3-PRO can fill a 150-inch diagonal screen with the unit placed just 46 cm (18.1 inches) from the projection surface. This is the defining characteristic that makes the product viable for mainstream living rooms: there is no ceiling mount, no long cable run across the room and no risk of someone walking through the beam. The projector simply sits on a media cabinet or purpose-built stand directly below the screen. Image size scales continuously from 80 to 150 inches, so the same unit works in a compact apartment or a dedicated home cinema. Hisense's Digital Lens Focus system ensures the 4K image stays sharp and uniform all the way to the corners at every projection size.

Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos & IMAX Enhanced
The PX3-PRO holds simultaneous certification for three premium content formats: Dolby Vision (dynamic HDR metadata frame-by-frame), Dolby Atmos (object-based spatial audio), and IMAX Enhanced (certified by the IMAX Corporation and Hollywood's leading technical specialists). HDR10+ and HLG are also supported, meaning the projector handles every mainstream HDR format in the market. For the viewer, Dolby Vision unlocks scene-by-scene picture optimisation that ordinary HDR10 cannot match — shadow detail and highlight clipping are controlled per frame rather than globally. The 50W Harman Kardon front-firing speaker system then delivers Dolby Atmos natively without requiring an external AV receiver, making IMAX-grade audio-visual quality achievable in a single-unit installation.

World's First Xbox-Certified UST Projector
Microsoft has certified the PX3-PRO as the world's first UST projector in the 'Designed for Xbox' programme. This is more than a badge: it requires validated support for HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, Auto-Low Latency Mode (ALLM) — which automatically switches the projector into its lowest-latency processing mode the moment a gaming console is detected — and HSR 240 (Hisense Super Resolution at 240 Hz equivalent motion), delivering fluid, tear-free motion in fast titles. For households where the living room projector doubles as a gaming display, this certification gives confidence that console performance is not compromised by the display technology. The HDMI 2.1 ports also support 4K at 120Hz and VRR for compatible titles.

Google TV with Full Streaming Ecosystem
The built-in Google TV platform provides access to Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Pandora, Sling TV, YouTube and the Google Play Store — all without any external streaming device. Google Assistant is built in for voice search and control, and the projector is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple AirPlay 2 as well as Chromecast. For integrators, Control4 compatibility allows the PX3-PRO to be incorporated into professional smart home automation systems. Wi-Fi 6e (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3 ensure fast, stable wireless connections for 4K streaming and peripheral audio devices. The backlit voice remote with a Remote Finder function completes a genuinely user-friendly out-of-the-box experience.

50W Harman Kardon Front-Firing Audio
Rather than relying on downward- or rear-firing drivers, the PX3-PRO uses a front-firing 50W Harman Kardon speaker system specifically designed to direct sound toward the viewer. The result is better audio localisation and a more coherent surround experience when Dolby Atmos content plays. For most residential installations this eliminates the need for a separate soundbar or AV receiver, reducing system cost and installation complexity significantly. Optical digital audio out and an analogue audio output are available for users who wish to connect an external system, and the projector is DLNA-compatible for network audio streaming.

25,000+ Hour Laser Life & Eye Protection
TriChroma's laser light source is rated for over 25,000 hours of operation — equivalent to watching more than 12,500 two-hour films before the light source reaches end of life. Unlike lamp-based projectors, there are no consumable bulbs to replace, no warm-up periods and no sudden lamp failures mid-viewing. The laser technology also emits zero harmful blue light, and Hisense has included an active eye protection sensor that detects objects in the projection beam and automatically dims then shuts off the image if someone moves too close. This makes the projector significantly safer in households with children, and reduces eye-strain for extended daily viewing sessions.
