The Chief PDRUB is a heavy-duty dual swing arm wall mount engineered for large flat panel displays in demanding commercial and corporate environments. 94 cm Full-Motion Extension

The PDRUB's dual swing arm extends up to 94 cm from the wall and collapses to just 7.3 cm in the home position. This wide range of motion makes it well suited for conference rooms, classrooms, and recessed or corner installations where the display needs to reach viewers at varying positions. When retracted, the mount sits almost flush against the wall, maintaining a professional, unobtrusive appearance. The arms swivel up to 90° left or right (depending on screen size), enabling comfortable viewing from virtually any angle in the room — ideal for presentations with multiple seating positions or variable room layouts.

Centris Fingertip Tilt Technology

Chief's Centris Select tilt mechanism allows the tilt tension to be calibrated to the exact centre of gravity of the mounted display. Once set, the screen tilts smoothly with minimal force — a single fingertip is sufficient — and holds the chosen angle until deliberately re-adjusted. This eliminates the common problem of heavy displays slowly drifting from their set position over time. For end users, this means consistently correct viewing angles without repeated manual corrections, and for installers it means fewer call-backs and adjustments after handover. Tilt range is 5° up and 15° down.

Landscape and Portrait Mounting

The PDRUB supports installation in both landscape and portrait orientation, giving integrators the flexibility to adapt to specific content strategies or space constraints without specifying a different mount. Portrait orientation is increasingly common in digital signage, wayfinding, and menu board applications. The mount's universal interface bracket accommodates VESA patterns from 200×200 mm up to 862×517 mm, covering the vast majority of large commercial displays on the market today.

ClickConnect Latching System

The ClickConnect (also referred to as Q-Latch) mounting system allows the display to be attached to and removed from the mount without tools. A latching flag secures the screen in place, and an audible click confirms that the display is locked. This dramatically speeds up initial installation and any future display swaps — particularly relevant in environments where screens are periodically rotated or replaced. An optional padlock can be added to prevent unauthorised removal, providing an additional layer of security in public-facing or high-traffic areas.

Integrated CableTrac Cable Management

The PDRUB features built-in CableTrac cable management channels running through the interior of both swing arms. Cables are routed cleanly inside the arm assembly, remaining hidden from view at all extension positions — not just when the arms are collapsed. This ensures a professional finish regardless of how the display is positioned, eliminating visible cable loops or drape that are common with externally managed cable runs. The result is a tidier installation that requires no additional cable conduits or dressing, reducing both installation time and ongoing maintenance.

Post-Installation Height and Lateral Adjustment

After the mount is secured to the wall, height can still be adjusted by up to 2.5 cm and lateral position shifted by up to 22.9 cm (9 inches total, 4.5 cm each side) within the 16-inch stud system — all without disassembly. This is a meaningful practical advantage on real job sites, where display placement often needs fine-tuning after the wall bracket is fixed. In addition, the support posts for the dual arms can be repositioned left or right of centre to accommodate walls with limited space or non-standard stud layouts, adding further installation flexibility.
