The Chief TA500 is a large in-wall accessory box designed to work exclusively with the Chief TS525TU and TS325TU THINSTALL dual swing arm mounts. By recessing the mount hardware into the wall cavity, the TA500 delivers a true zero-depth, flush installation that eliminates visible hardware and creates a clean, professional appearance — ideal for boardrooms, classrooms, lobbies and high-end AV environments where aesthetics matter. The enclosure retains full swing arm mobility and height adjustment, and includes large conduit and gang knock-outs for seamless cable routing. Supplied with a black trim kit for a finished look, it is TAA compliant and backed by Chief's 10-year limited warranty.

True Zero-Depth In-Wall Integration

The TA500 enclosure is recessed entirely into the wall cavity, so once installed the THINSTALL swing arm sits completely flush with the wall surface — no protruding box, no visible hardware. The TA500 features large conduit knock-outs and gang knock-outs that are compatible with standard metal single-gang electrical boxes. This allows installers to route HDMI, power and control cabling directly through the enclosure and into the wall cavity without surface-mounted cable covers or external conduit runs. For the end user the practical benefit is a completely wire-free wall surface — no cable trays, no trunking — which is especially valuable in spaces where the wall finish is a design feature.
