Ultra-slim fixed wall mount for medium displays
Chief MSTU
The Chief MSTU Medium Thinstall™ Fixed Wall Display Mount is designed specifically for today's ultra-thin flat panel displays, delivering a virtually flush wall installation that keeps displays looking clean and integrated in any space. Suited for commercial and professional AV environments — corporate meeting rooms, retail, hospitality, and public signage — the MSTU holds screens from 26 to 47 inches securely against the wall at just 1 cm depth. Tool-less GlideLock latching speeds up installation, while built-in lateral shift adjustment, a cable management stand, and open wall plates make on-site work practical and tidy. Backed by a 10-year manufacturer warranty, it is a reliable, low-maintenance mounting solution for integrators and end customers alike.

1 cm Wall Depth — Genuinely Flush Look
At just 1 cm from wall to display back, the MSTU sets a display closer to the surface than virtually any competing fixed mount. This is not a minor detail: ultra-thin commercial panels are increasingly specified for lobbies, retail walls, and meeting rooms precisely because they look like part of the architecture rather than bolted-on hardware. A mount that adds even 3–4 cm of depth breaks that illusion. With the MSTU, the gap between screen edge and wall is invisible in most installations, which means the display commands the room on its own merits — and the integrator does not have to compensate with trim plates or recessed pockets.

GlideLock Tool-Less Latching
GlideLock is Chief's proprietary one-step latching system that secures the display bracket to the wall plate without tools. The practical implication during installation: one person can hang the display, confirm alignment, and lock the mount in place in seconds. There is no need to hold the panel steady while a second technician tightens bolts — a common frustration on fixed mounts. For integrators managing multiple installations in a day, or working in occupied spaces with limited access time, the time saved per screen is significant. Removal for service access is equally quick, which also matters when cable routing behind the display needs adjusting after handover.

Lateral Shift for Precise Display Positioning
After the wall plate is fixed, the MSTU allows horizontal (lateral) shift of the display without touching the wall fixings. In practice this means stud or anchor positions in the wall do not have to line up perfectly with the intended centre of the screen — a common problem in retrofit installations where conduit, wiring, or existing fixings constrain where the wall plate can go. The lateral shift gives the integrator room to optimise viewing angle and aesthetic alignment independently of structural constraints, reducing rework and callbacks.

Cable Management Built Into the Mount
The MSTU includes a dedicated cable stand and a bottom pull-out tab that opens cable access without removing the display from the wall. Combined with open wall plates that allow electrical outlets and back-box fittings to be positioned freely behind the mount, cable routing becomes a planned part of the installation rather than an afterthought. For commercial deployments where a clean front-of-wall appearance is essential — and where cables dangling below a screen are simply not acceptable — these provisions are what make the difference between a professional finish and one that needs remediation.

Wide VESA Compatibility — Broad Display Coverage
The MSTU supports VESA mounting patterns from 200×200 mm up to 600×400 mm, covering the full range of medium commercial flat panels from approximately 26 to 47 inches. This single mount SKU can therefore serve a wide variety of display brands and models without requiring bracket adapters, which simplifies procurement and reduces the risk of compatibility mismatches on site. Load capacity is rated at 56.7 kg, well above the weight of any display in this size range, providing a reliable safety margin.

10-Year Manufacturer Warranty
Chief backs the MSTU with a 10-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship — among the longest in the professional mounting category. For end users, this matters because a wall mount is infrastructure: it is installed once and expected to hold a valuable display securely for the entire lifecycle of the AV system. A decade of coverage removes the risk that a hardware failure mid-lifecycle results in an unbudgeted replacement, and signals the build quality the product is designed to reflect.
