The CMS003 adds a fixed 7.6 cm (3 inches) of vertical drop to a ceiling projector mount assembly. When a projector kit's standard column is too short to achieve the correct lens-to-screen throw distance, or when a beam or ceiling feature must be cleared, adding one or more extension columns solves the problem without re-engineering the installation. Because the length is fixed rather than adjustable, the final height is stable and vibration-resistant — important in environments with HVAC airflow or foot traffic on upper floors.
