Broad System Compatibility via 1.5" NPT
The CMS048W uses the industry-standard 1.5" NPT thread on both the top and bottom of the column. This means it mates directly with the full Chief ceiling plate range (and any third-party accessory using the same standard) without adapters or custom hardware. For integrators, this eliminates compatibility guesswork at the design stage: any Chief Speed-Connect ceiling plate pairs with any CMS column in the same series.
