Rear Passive Radiator Extends Deep Bass

The PPSUB8 uses a rear-facing 8-inch tuned passive radiator — a diaphragm that reacts to changing air pressure inside the sealed enclosure rather than being driven directly by an amplifier. In practice this effectively doubles the acoustic cabinet volume, pushing the usable frequency response down to 40Hz (-10dB) and 55Hz (-3dB) from a physically compact pendant body.
