The Chief CSSLP15X10 Proximity Component Storage Slide-Lock Panel is designed for AV installers who need to conceal and organise media players, signal processors, and other small devices directly behind wall-mounted displays of 127 cm (50") and larger. The panel attaches on-wall or to Chief Fusion mount extrusions — left, right, or below the display — in either landscape or portrait orientation, giving integrators full flexibility to suit any installation layout. Its patented slide-out mechanism with push-to-open and push-to-close operation allows quick, safe access to equipment without disturbing the display, making routine service calls fast and professional.

Tool-Free Lever Lock Plate for Off-Site Integration

The built-in 25,0 × 40,3 cm Lever Lock plate detaches from the slide-lock panel without any tools. This means devices can be pre-loaded, cabled, and tested on the bench before the installation day — a significant time-saver on complex jobs. On-site, the loaded plate simply clicks back into the panel in seconds. Post-installation service is equally clean: a technician can remove the plate and swap or reconfigure equipment without touching the display mount or the display itself. For recurring maintenance contracts, this translates directly to shorter site visits and less risk of accidental display damage.

Push-to-Open Slide Mechanism Prevents Accidental Drop

The CSSLP15X10 uses a patented slide rail system with a push-to-open and push-to-close action that locks the panel securely in both the closed (stored) and open (service) positions. The panel cannot fall out or drop down under the weight of its load — a critical safety feature when equipment is mounted at height behind large commercial displays. The controlled extension gives technicians both hands free to work on the components, and the panel retracts smoothly without requiring force or tools. Universal Mounting Versatility — Wall or Fusion Mount

The CSSLP15X10 attaches directly to a wall surface or clips onto Chief Fusion mount extrusions, including LCM and LWM menu board mounts and Fusion carts and stands. It can be positioned to the left, right, or below the display, and works in both landscape and portrait orientation. For 127 cm (50") displays, vertical orientation is required; for 165 cm (65") and larger, horizontal positioning is supported. Multiple units can be stacked side by side for 178 cm (70") displays and above, scaling storage capacity to match the number of devices in the rack-free installation. This broad compatibility makes it a single SKU that fits across most Chief Fusion installations.

Patented Universal Device Mounting Pattern

The Lever Lock plate features a patented universal hole and slot pattern that supports cable ties, hook-and-loop fasteners, and nuts and bolts — accommodating virtually any small AV device regardless of its own mounting footprint. It is also fully compatible with Middle Atlantic Forward small device mounting clips and cable management accessories, allowing integrators to build out a tidy, rack-style component layout directly on the plate before it goes behind the display. The minimum usable device depth is 1,9 cm on a standard Fusion mount (4,7 cm with no spacers on an XL mount), which comfortably accepts most streaming players, matrix switchers, amplifiers, and control processors.
