INOGENI REMOTE SHARE — Remote keypad for SHARE2/SHARE2U camera mixers
The INOGENI REMOTE SHARE is a dedicated control keypad designed for presenters and operators who need to manage SHARE2 or SHARE2U camera mixer switching without being physically at the device. Ideal for classrooms, boardrooms, conference rooms, and live event spaces, it lets the presenter or AV operator change camera sources or mixing layouts from a comfortable distance using simple push buttons. The keypad connects via a standard RJ-45 cable and draws power from a USB 2.0 port, making installation clean and cable-simple. Compact, robust, and manufactured in Canada, it is TAA-compliant and certified to FCC, CE, RoHS, and IEC62368 standards.

Distance Control via Standard RJ-45
The REMOTE SHARE communicates with the SHARE2 or SHARE2U over an ordinary RJ-45 cable using RS-232 signalling. For SHARE2, connection is plug-and-play with any standard Ethernet patch cable. For SHARE2U and CAM300, a short RJ-45-to-terminal-block adapter is required. Because the signal runs over Cat5e/6 infrastructure, the keypad can be placed at any typical table or lectern distance without needing proprietary cabling or active electronics in between. A 10 ft (3 m) RJ-45 cable is included in the box to get started immediately. This wired approach guarantees latency-free, interference-free button response — critical when a missed or delayed camera cut would be visible to remote participants.

Hands-Free Presenter Mobility
By relocating mixer control to a small keypad at the presenter's position, the REMOTE SHARE removes the need for a dedicated operator at the SHARE2/SHARE2U unit. In a classroom or boardroom this means the instructor or meeting host can switch camera views or mix layouts with a single button press while continuing to speak, write, or move — without interrupting the presentation flow or relying on a second person at the AV rack. The result is a noticeably more polished live or streamed experience for remote participants, who see intentional, timely camera changes rather than delayed or accidental cuts.

USB-Powered — No Power Adapter Needed
The keypad draws its operating power from the USB 2.0 port on the connected SHARE2 or SHARE2U, so there is no mains adapter to provision, cable, or explain to end users. This simplifies both the bill of materials and the finished installation: one RJ-45 run to the keypad, one USB connection at the host device, nothing else. In fixed installations such as a lecture podium or council chamber where cable management is important, eliminating a separate power brick reduces clutter and potential points of failure.

TAA Compliance for Government & Education Projects
The REMOTE SHARE carries full TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance, meaning it qualifies for US federal, state, and publicly funded education procurement programmes that mandate domestically or treaty-country-sourced equipment. Combined with FCC, CE, RoHS, IEC62368, SoV, and RCM certifications, it meets the compliance requirements of virtually any institutional buyer in North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand. Designed and manufactured in Canada, it also fulfils NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) requirements, which increasingly appear in higher-education and government AV tenders.
