Mini universal projector ceiling mount kit
Chief KITAD003W
The Chief KITAD003W is a preconfigured projector ceiling mount kit designed to simplify ordering and installation for AV integrators working with smaller, lighter projectors. It brings together three complementary components — the RSAUW mini universal RPA projector mount, the CMS115W 15,2 cm speed-connect ceiling plate, and the CMS003W 7,6 cm fixed extension column — all in white. Ideal for education, corporate and small-venue installations where a low-profile, secure and clean ceiling mount solution is required. Full roll, pitch and yaw adjustment enables precise projector alignment, and integrated cable management keeps the installation neat and professional.

Three-Component Kit, One Order
The KITAD003W ships as a matched set: the RSAUW mini universal mount, the CMS115W speed-connect ceiling plate and the CMS003W fixed extension column. Buying a pre-bundled kit eliminates the risk of component incompatibility and reduces sourcing effort for the integrator. For the installer on-site, everything arrives together, tested to work as a system — no last-minute ordering of a missing column or mismatched ceiling plate. The result is a cleaner, faster installation process and less risk of delays on the job.

Full Roll, Pitch and Yaw Adjustment
The RSAUW mini universal mount provides independent roll, pitch and yaw adjustments, allowing the installer to dial in precise projector registration even when the ceiling is not perfectly level or the throw angle needs correction. Tilt range is 20° and pan covers a full 360°. A quick connect-disconnect mechanism lets the projector be removed for lamp or filter access without losing the preset alignment — when it is reconnected, it drops back into exactly the same position. This dramatically reduces service time in installations where lamp changes are routine.
One kit. Mount, plate and column. Ready to install.
TAA compliant · 10-year limited warranty

Speed-Connect Ceiling Plate with Cable Management
The included CMS115W ceiling plate is built for fast installation: its speed-connect design reduces on-ceiling work time, and its integrated cable management routes cables up through a dedicated exit port in the top of the plate, keeping the underside of the installation clean and avoiding visible cable runs. The plate is constructed from aluminium for a lightweight yet strong build. It is compatible with 1,5" NPT columns and other Chief accessories, giving integrators flexibility if they later need to adjust the drop height using a different column.

All-Points Security Locking Hardware
Both the RSAUW mount and the CMS115W ceiling plate feature Chief's all-points security system, with steel-into-steel locking hardware at every connection point. This makes the installation resistant to opportunistic theft or tampering — a meaningful consideration in semi-public environments such as classrooms, conference rooms and auditoriums where the projector may be accessible from below. The security hardware is integrated rather than added on, so it adds no extra installation steps and does not compromise the aesthetics of the finished mount.

Lightweight Aluminium Construction
All three components use aluminium construction, keeping the overall assembly weight down while maintaining the structural strength needed to support projectors up to 11,3 kg. A low total system weight reduces ceiling load concerns and makes handling during installation easier, particularly when working alone on a ladder. The low-profile form factor also contributes to a clean, unobtrusive ceiling aesthetic that suits presentation and meeting environments where appearance matters.

TAA Compliant — Ready for Government and Education
The KITAD003W carries TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance, meaning it meets US federal procurement requirements. For integrators supplying government agencies, public schools, universities or defence facilities, TAA compliance is often a non-negotiable contract requirement. Having the kit certified at the product level removes a documentation burden and ensures the project passes procurement review without the need for waivers or substitutions.

10-Year Limited Warranty
Chief backs the KITAD003W with a 10-year limited warranty — one of the longer coverage periods available for projector mounting hardware. For end users in corporate or institutional settings, this means the mounting infrastructure is warranted well beyond the typical projector lifecycle, reducing total cost of ownership. For resellers and integrators, it simplifies after-sales support conversations and reduces the likelihood of warranty-related return calls years down the line.
