The Chief FCA841 Fusion Side Channel Speaker Adapter is designed for AV integrators who want a clean, stand-free speaker integration alongside extra-large displays (127–241 cm diagonal). It mounts directly to any Chief Fusion Series wall, ceiling, or cart mount, eliminating the need for separate speaker shelves, floor stands, or individual speaker wall brackets. The adapter accommodates most speaker brands and features an infinitely adjustable width, ensuring a flush, professional fit regardless of speaker cabinet dimensions. When paired with a ceiling or cart mount, tilt adjustment adds further placement flexibility. The result is a tidy, low-profile installation that keeps the focus on the display and content — with no added depth to the overall setup.

Adjustable Width for Any Speaker Cabinet

The FCA841's infinitely adjustable width range means it is not restricted to a handful of predefined speaker sizes. When paired with wall mounts, the overall display-plus-adapter span adjusts from approximately 114 cm to 215 cm; with ceiling or cart mounts, the range is 117–197 cm. In practice this means installers can specify the adapter before the speaker model is finalised — and swap speakers later without replacing the adapter. The flush-fit design ensures speakers sit tight against the side of the display rather than floating away from it, giving the completed installation a purposeful, integrated look.

Tilt Adjustment on Ceiling and Cart Mounts

When the FCA841 is used with a Chief Fusion ceiling or cart mount, it adds ±10° of tilt adjustment to the speaker position independently of the display angle. This is useful in spaces where the ceiling mount is positioned off-centre from the seating area, or where a cart is rolled to different locations in a room — the speakers can be angled toward the audience rather than pointing straight out from the screen edge. For corporate boardrooms, training rooms, or rental-and-staging setups, this small adjustment eliminates the acoustic dead zones that occur when side-channel speakers are fixed at an unfavourable angle.

The FCA841 is a native Fusion Series accessory, meaning it attaches directly to Chief Fusion wall, ceiling, and cart mounts without requiring intermediary hardware or field modifications.
