The Chief STMS1U is a Fusion Series single-stud tilt wall mount purpose-built for small commercial displays in the 24–32" range. Designed with AV installers in mind, it combines a low-profile footprint with a rich set of on-site adjustment tools — making it equally at home in retail digital signage, hospitality rooms, and control room installations. Its compact single-stud design sits flush behind narrow-bezel screens, keeping the overall aesthetic clean. Centris Low-Profile Tilt

Centris tilt is engineered around the display's centre of gravity, so the screen balances naturally at whatever tilt angle is chosen rather than relying purely on friction or spring tension. The result is a mount that sits closer to the wall than conventional tilt designs, which matters especially with narrow-bezel and thin-panel displays where every centimetre of protrusion affects how a room feels. Tilt range is +2° to -12°, with positive locking positions at 0°, -6° and -12° that hold the screen securely without any additional tools after adjustment. For end users, this means displays stay angled exactly where set — no gradual creep over time, and no need for a service visit to re-level a screen months after installation.

Post-Installation ControlZone Leveling

ControlZone leveling allows the height and horizontal level of the display to be fine-tuned after the screen has been fully mounted and cabled — without removing the panel from the wall. Manual height adjustments are made in 2,5 cm increments. This is particularly valuable in environments where screens are installed before final furniture placement, or where wall surfaces are not perfectly plumb. It significantly reduces return visits caused by slightly off-level installations: the end user or facility manager can correct minor alignment issues themselves using basic tools, rather than booking a technician.

ClickConnect Audible Engagement Confirmation

When the display plate engages with the wall bracket, a mechanical click provides an unmistakable audible confirmation that the screen is fully and safely locked in place. In practical terms this eliminates the ambiguity of 'does it feel right?' during installation — the click is definitive. For digital signage deployments where screens are mounted at height or in hard-to-inspect locations (e.g. above reception desks or in retail ceiling niches), this feedback reduces the risk of a screen that appears mounted but is not fully seated. It also helps less-experienced on-site staff assist with installations without requiring expert oversight at every step.

Portrait and Landscape Orientation

The STMS1U supports both portrait and landscape mounting orientations — a genuine decision point for digital signage, retail, and hospitality deployments where vertical screens are frequently specified for menu boards, wayfinding totems, or product highlight displays. Many smaller tilt mounts are landscape-only, so this flexibility avoids the need to source a separate mount when a mixed-orientation installation is planned. The single-stud design means the mounting footprint is identical regardless of orientation, simplifying wall-prep for venues that may want to change screen orientation after initial installation.

Integrated Security and Nesting Spacers

Integrated security locks the display to the mount bracket, an important feature for public-area digital signage where opportunistic tampering or theft is a concern — retail floors, lobbies, airports, and educational environments. Separate set screws keep the mount assembly rigid and stable throughout the installation lifetime, preventing vibration-induced loosening in high-footfall spaces. Included nesting spacers can be stacked to bridge the gap between the wall plate and the display's VESA mount when offset depth is needed — for example when a display has a protruding connector panel or when flush-wall cable management requires a specific standoff distance. This eliminates the need for additional adapter hardware on most jobs.

Quick-Store Cord Access — Tool-less Screen Release

Magnetic Quick-Store cords hang from the base of the mount. Pulling both cords simultaneously offsets the screen from the wall, giving access to rear cabling without disconnecting the mount from the wall and without any tools. This feature directly benefits venues that need periodic access to the display's inputs — for example a hospitality property updating HDMI sources, or a retail site re-cabling after a tech refresh. Tool-less screen release also reduces the risk of damaged wall fixings or scratched screens during routine maintenance, and cuts the time a maintenance technician spends on-site per visit.
