Supplied in a tough storage tube, the kit pairs everyday routing tips with problem-solving tools such as a powerful retrieval magnet and a screw-in LED inspection light, making awkward cable pulls faster and reducing the drilling and making-good needed on site.
Super Beam Screw-In Inspection Light
The Super Beam is a self-contained LED torch that screws onto the end of any Super Rod cable rod, turning the rod set into an instant inspection tool. It lets the installer see into dark voids, ceiling cavities and wall chases while feeding the rod, and it also helps locate the rod tip behind plasterboard. A neat design detail is that it only illuminates when fully screwed onto the rod, so it cannot be left switched on by accident and battery life is preserved. In practice this means faster, more confident cable pulls in unlit spaces and fewer wasted trips back to the van for a separate torch or replacement batteries.
Powerful Super Magnet Retrieval
The Super Magnet is a high-strength retrieval attachment used to recover dropped tools, keys and cables, and to guide rods to a magnetic target on the other side of a cavity. It is strong enough to lift a 2.5 kg lump hammer, which gives a good sense of the holding force available when fishing a steel draw wire or pulling a rod through to a known point. For the installer this turns a blind, fiddly retrieval in a wall or floor void into a controllable single-handed operation, cutting down on access holes that would otherwise need to be cut and later made good.
Seven Interchangeable Attachments
The tube contains seven attachments — Domed Bullet, Flat Bullet, Gender Changer, Super Magnet, Super Beam, Tuff Hook and Mini Eye & Ring — that all share the standard Super Rod thread. The Domed and Flat Bullets ease the rod tip past obstructions, the Tuff Hook and Mini Eye & Ring attach the cable for pulling, and the Gender Changer lets rods and accessories be joined in either direction. Because the kit covers routing, retrieval and connection in one tube, the installer can switch technique on the fly without returning to the van, and can top up the consumable tips that get lost or worn most often on site.
