Ultra-Flexible Nylon for Tight Corners
The two 175mm rods are made from ultra-flexible nylon, the most pliable material in the Super Rod cable rod range. Where stiffer fibreglass or composite rods bind up or kink at sharp changes of direction, the nylon section bends around the corner and keeps feeding the cable through. In practice an installer attaches the short nylon rod to a longer, stiffer rod so the rigid section drives the push while the flexible nylon tip negotiates the bend. This means fewer failed pulls, less damage to the rest of the rod set from over-stressing, and cable routed through corners, conduit bends and cavity returns that would otherwise force an installer to open up walls or ceilings.
Crimped AXM Fittings Rated to 250kg
Every fitting on the end of a Super Rod is a mechanically crimped AXM connector rated to carry a load of 250kg. That matters because the join between rods is the usual failure point: a glued or pressed fitting can pull off mid-job, leaving the rod stuck inside a wall or conduit. The crimped construction holds up to repeated heavy daily pulling, so the rods stay coupled when an installer is dragging a bundle of cable back through a long run. The result is dependable, all-day use without the lost time and access work that a separated rod causes.
Compatible With the Super Rod System
The threaded brass fittings on each rod match the rest of the Super Rod cable rod range, so the CR-SNX2 connects to longer rods and to the full range of attachments such as bullets, hooks and eyes. This lets an installer add flexibility exactly where it is needed in an existing rod set rather than buying a whole new kit, and makes the pack an easy drop-in replacement for worn or lost rods.
