Large short throw projector wall mount kit, single stud
Chief WM130AUS
The Chief WM130AUS is a complete short throw projector wall mount kit designed for education, corporate and conference room installations where projectors need to be positioned close to the screen without obstructing the audience. The kit combines the single-stud WM130S extension arm with the RSMAUS Universal Mini RPA Elite projector mount, delivering a ready-to-install solution that works with virtually any short throw projector brand. It also supports wall-mounted long throw projectors, giving installers flexibility across multiple project types. The result is a space-saving installation with precise image alignment and robust security features built in from the factory.

Quick-Connect Single-Stud Installation
The WM130S arm attaches to a single wall stud using the included wall plate and hardware — no double-stud requirement and no extra bracketing needed. An innovative quick-connect system lets installers lock the arm into position fast, which matters in classrooms or conference rooms where access time is limited and ceiling work is not an option. Hardware for wood stud, steel stud and concrete is included in the box, so the installer arrives with a single kit and can work in virtually any wall construction without a return trip for parts.

Precise MicroZone Alignment System
The included RSMAUS Mini RPA Elite mount provides independent roll (+/-3°), pitch (+/-15°) and yaw (360°) adjustments, while the arm itself adds pitch +/-3° and full 360° yaw. The industry-first micro height and leveling adjustments — branded as MicroZone — let the installer dial in the projected image without loosening large bolts or repositioning the entire arm. In practice, this means the image can be squared to the screen in minutes rather than the repeated trial-and-error typical with coarser adjustment systems. It also preserves registration when the projector is reconnected after servicing.

Centris Technology for Effortless Repositioning
The RSMAUS mount incorporates Chief's Centris Technology, which automatically adjusts its counterbalance to match the weight of the specific projector installed. This means the projector can be repositioned with fingertip force rather than fighting a stiff bracket — useful during initial setup when the installer is fine-tuning throw distance and image alignment from multiple angles. It also means that if the projector is ever temporarily removed for lamp or filter maintenance, it can be re-hung and the pre-set adjustments remain unaffected.

Q-Lock Quick Release with Integrated Security
A Q-Lock lever allows the projector to be disconnected from the mount and reconnected in seconds — eliminating the need to remove bolts during routine lamp or filter service. The lever integrates an 'A' series key and lock, and the broader arm assembly supports four keyed locking options (A-B-C-D) plus All-Points locking hardware. This multi-layer security is particularly relevant in semi-public environments such as schools and shared meeting rooms, where unsecured projectors are a liability and quick-swap serviceability needs to coexist with theft deterrence.

Universal Mount Compatibility
The WM130S arm is compatible with the full RPA, RPA Elite, RPA Mini and RPA Mini Elite mount series, and the included RSMAUS universal interface accepts projectors from any major manufacturer. This future-proofs the installation: when the projector is upgraded or replaced with a different brand, only the projector mount head needs to be swapped — the arm and wall plate remain. For environments that rotate projector brands across a site (common in education and rental), this reduces both installation cost and the number of spare parts that need to be stocked.

Integrated Cable Management
The arm includes a built-in cable management channel that routes and conceals cables through the length of the arm and into the top of the RSMAUS mount — no additional cable clips or conduit accessories required. For permanent installations in boardrooms, lecture theatres or classrooms, this gives a clean finish from the wall plate to the projector with no exposed wiring running along the arm. It also protects signal and power cables from accidental pulls during projector servicing.
