Quick-Connect System for Fast Installation

The WM210AUS uses Chief's innovative quick-connect system that significantly reduces on-site assembly time compared to conventional bolted arm designs. The arm and projector mount snap together and are secured without tools at the connection point, meaning an integrator can bracket the wall plate, hang the arm and attach the projector mount in a single efficient workflow. For installations across multiple rooms — a common scenario in school or corporate rollouts — this translates directly into fewer billable installation hours and a more predictable schedule. Once installed, the quick-connect also makes lamp and filter servicing far faster, since the projector mount can be disconnected and reconnected without disturbing the wall plate alignment.

Micro Height, Leveling and Pitch Adjustments

After the arm is fixed to the wall, the WM210AUS allows fine-tuning via independent micro adjustments for height, leveling and pitch (±3°). These tool-accessible adjustments are calibrated for small, repeatable increments rather than coarse repositioning, which matters when a projector must land a perfectly rectangular image on a fixed screen without any keystone correction being applied in software. Software keystone degrades image quality; physical alignment preserves full native resolution. Integrated Lateral Shift up to 25,4 cm

The mount's integrated lateral shift mechanism allows the projector position to be moved horizontally up to 25,4 cm relative to the dual-stud wall plate. This is a critical feature in dual-stud installations where the structural studs in the wall are rarely centred exactly below the desired throw axis. Instead of shimming or off-centre mounting plates, the integrator mounts the plate to the studs and then shifts the arm left or right to centre the image on the screen. The result is a structurally sound, load-bearing installation that still hits the correct optical axis — without any compromise on the stud spacing available in the wall.

Integrated Cable Management for a Clean Result

An integrated cable channel runs through the arm assembly, routing signal and power cables from the projector back to the wall in a fully enclosed path. The cover closes over the cables to present a smooth, finished appearance that matches the expectations of education and corporate environments where visible cable runs are considered unprofessional. The WM210AUS is purpose-built for ultra-short throw projectors — the arm geometry positions the lens close to the screen surface at the precise angle needed to produce a full-sized, undistorted image. But the extendable arm range (32,4–49,5 cm from wall) and compatibility with the full RPA, RPA Elite, RPA Mini and RPA Elite Mini mount families means the same wall plate can also support conventional long-throw models. This flexibility protects the installation investment: if the projector is upgraded to a different throw ratio in the future, the wall plate and arm can remain in place and only the projector interface needs to change.

Multi-Surface Hardware and Security Options

The kit ships with hardware for wood stud, steel stud and concrete wall construction, so no separate anchor kit is needed regardless of the wall type on site. Security is addressed at multiple levels: the All-Points locking hardware secures the arm to the wall plate, while the projector mount accepts four different keyed locking cylinders (A, B, C, D) so that facilities managers can key-alike across rooms or use separate keys per room. This level of built-in security matters in education deployments where projector theft from wall mounts is a known risk.
